Prehistoric Thira Museum
9 Located in Fira, and built on the site of the old Ypapanti Church; that was destroyed in the 1956 earthquake. The place is a hub for a mass collection of artefacts that were extracted in the ruins of Akrotiri. There are a tonnes of pots and pottery to see, the impressive mural, the wall paintings, the stunning house of the ladies, but the highlights are the pictures of the blue monkeys.
