The Whirling Dervishes are a ceremony in Cappadocia that represents a mystical journey of man's spiritual ascent through love. This is a magical experience, not to be missed.
Pick up from your Cappadocia/Goreme hotel and transfer via private minivan.
Whirling Dervishes performances takes place at an old caravanserai dating back to 1249 AD. Watching this ancient dance in a historical building adds to the experience and gives it so much more meaning.
The ceremony in all takes around an hour. You are not permitted to clap or take pictures during the performance, but at the end, there are 2 minutes allocated to do so.
We will then transport you back to your Cappadocia/Goreme hotel to end your tour.

No photographs or clapping as this one is not a performance but their daily ritual. Once they are finished their ceremony you have a brief five minutes to take photos whilst they whirl for you and then they just disappear. It is a well worth experience.

Because they said no photos during the performance we did no bring cameras and regretted it. The building, a restored caravansary is gorgeous and after the service is finished they give you a few minutes to take photos of the dervishes themselves.
