Overview

Get picked up from your in Istanbul and Fly to Nevşehir or Kayseri where you will meet your guide then board an air-conditioned coach.

Begin your first day by visiting Devrent Valley known as Imagination Valley, one of the most surreal-looking landscapes in Cappadocia. Then onto Pasabagi, also known as Monks Valley where Christian hermits chose to build Hermit Cells and Churches. These three headed Pinnacles are symbolic of the Holy Trinity, which makes it possible to see all the stages of the Fairy Chimneys.

Next, head to Avanos the Pottery Center of Cappadocia where the village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River which gets its name from the Red clay deposits. You can see the potters at work using the traditional kick wheels, a technique that has remained unchanged for generations.

You will have lunch at a local Turkish Restaurant before heading to the Goreme Open Air Museum.

Byzantine Cave churches can be found in these once remote Valleys where Monks and Nuns lived a monastic life in the 3rd Century. Here, you can see the preserved wall paintings and Frescos from the Iconoclastic era through to the end of the Selcuk rule.

Icons from the Old and New Testament can also be seen above the portraits of Saints and Church Fathers that depict the Structure of the Byzantine Period. End your first day with a fantastic view of Uchisar Castle and the tall rock which is the highest point of the Goreme area.

On the second you will enjoy a Hot Air Balloon Ride and witness the stunning landscape of Cappadocia. After the balloon ride head back to the back to the hotel.

Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before starting the full day Cappadocia tour with a leisurely 4km walk along the Red and Rose Valley famous for the volcanic rock formations and is situated in the heart of Cappadocia but is away from the mainstream touristic sites.

The walk will end in Cavusin Village, where you will see a Rock Castle and Troglodyte dwellings where people lived up until the 20th Century.

Then head to Kaymakli one of the largest and deepest Underground settlements in Cappadocia and about 40m deep and contains all the rooms that were commonly found in Underground Cities including cellars, storage rooms, churches and wineries.

On the return, you will explore Pigeon Valley where you will have spectacular views of Dovecotes, old Greek houses and old abandoned Cave Homes. The Final stop in Ortahisar is Ortahisar Castle the biggest mass of Fairy Chimneys in Cappadocia.

so I just came back from visiting Pamukkale in turkey and found one of the best ways to see Pamukkale is from above in the hot air balloon, not only can you see the landscape, but also the other different coloured balloons that are also up in the sky with you, so if your heading over I would suggest visiting Pamukkale and taking a ride in a balloon, you will not be disappointed,

so normally waking up at 3am to get ready for a balloon ride is something you would not normally do while on holiday, however, if you visiting turkey, then this you need to do, had such an amazing time in Pamukkale, watching the balloons go up, the balloon ride, the views the whole thing was amazing, but the views were the best, make sure you have your cameras ready when your on the balloon.

This is by far the best experience that I ever had in my life… the view of the white cliffs of Pamukkale and the ancient city above the ground level makes it so beautiful sight to watch… We were a group of five people and every single one of us loved it.

We took the balloon ride at sunset, and it was fantastic, we saw other balloons scattered across the sky along with ours, the sun slowly going down and you could see all the lights starting to come on below us it was so romantic, enjoyed every second. Highly recommend it is the best Pamukkale hot air balloon tour.
