Come and enjoy a 5-day short break in Cairo. Combine the history of the fantastic Giza Pyramids with the ancient Coptic and Islamic Cairo, also include the famous Egyptian Museum and experience the atmosphere of the Khan-El-Khalili Bazaar.

On your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our Reflections representative will meet and assist you to your Hotel by A/C Vehicle. After checking you in he will confirm with you the pick up times for your tours before leaving you to relax and settle in.

You visit many wonderful places on this short break including the amazing Giza Pyramids. The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. See the majestic Sphinx which has the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body and which dates back to the time of Chephren.

At Sakkara, you will see the world-famous Step Pyramid of Djoser which is the world's oldest major stone structure and your tour includes a visit to Memphis, also known as the Old Kingdom.

Spend the day exploring Coptic Cairo where you will visit Salah El Din Citadel which is a medieval Islamic fort. You will not fail to miss Mohamed Ali Mosque, the most distinguishable Mosque in Cairo with its Twin Minarets and which was built in memory of his oldest son.

At Old Cairo visit Ben Ezra Synagogue and The Hanging Church also know as the Staircase Church.

No visit to Cairo would be complete without a visit to the fabulous Egyptian Museum which houses artifacts from the Pharaonic period. At the museum, you will be able to view the wonderful Tutankhamun collection of treasures.

You will have plenty of time to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the colourful Khan El Khalili Bazaar for some fantastic shopping.

On this short break, you have the choice of taking an optional tour to Alexandria. You will visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery.

Included is a trip to see the Qaitbay Citadel.The Citadel known as the Lighthouse was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs. In Alexandra, you will also be taken to the Bibliotheca which is a major Library and Cultural center and houses many books in many different languages.

Your Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy a visit to the amazing Giza Pyramids. Then on to visit the majestic Sphinx. You will also visit the Valley Temple.


You will proceed to visit Sakkara,this is where the world-famous Step Pyramid of Djoser and travel to Memphis.

Everything was well organised and ran smoothly however the highlight was my guide. She has a true passion for her job, culture and region. Is very patient (the majority of people were rude enough not to even show up on time!) Outstandingly engaging and has a fab sense of humour in addition to being amazingly helpful and just an all round exceptionally warm and genuine person.
