Picked up from our hotel Excalibur on time. Had a wonderful day. The journey was long obviously but the bus was comfortable and had AC. The driver was friendly and drove safely. He was informative as he engaged with us on the bus. On the bus there was a documentary playing and a few films to help break up the long journey. We had a few stops on the way and a stop on the way back, which helped to go out and refuel and stretch our legs. No issues with the company at all. They seemed very well organised on the day. I would advise anyone to do the bus tour as it’s cheaper and you still get to see a lot of the countryside and the canyon. Plus it’s was great way to get off the strip for a whole day and save money. Next time i go I will deff use the same company and visit the west side the of the canyon, as I’ve now already done the south rim. 5*

We went on the South Rim tour on February 10, 2018. YES PEOPLE IT IS A LONG BUS RIDE!! Before you even get on the bus it should be known that it is a long bus ride but the ride was comfortable and the recorded tour guide was tolerable and informative. Our bus driver Mike was awesome. He was funny, not rude at all and very knowledgeable in the Grand Canyon history. It was not shoved down our throats that we should tip the driver. It was suggested that we could show a gratuity (by the recorded tour guide, NOT the driver) and it was entirely up to the individual to tip. Mike certainly earned his tips. Some people will pay more for less. The views were amazing and so was this tour. This trip was well worth the early rising and long bus ride. Definitely worth it, will try the West Rim tour next trip.

We had 14 in our party. The bus picked us up at our hotel the Excalibur. One member in my party needed to sit in the front seat as she gets motion sickness. They were very accommodating. It is a long day as we didn't get back to the hotel until almost 10pm. It is a little rushed at some attractions but I can understand that as it is a long drive to the South Rim. Robert was our driver, he was friendly and courteous. Bright Angel Lodge was the last stop on the trip. It is the perfect spot to see the sunset over the Canyon. My niece was proposed to at this spot.

This tour was great! The driver that was also the facilitator was excellent! Unfortunately we seen the Hoover Dawn at night and we're not able to step out of the bus but the driver manage to drive slowly for us. So we we're able to take pictures. At Grand Canyon we also have detour to take so not able to see the Grand Canyon from certain area but again our driver manage this by allowing us more time in the surrounding of the Visitor Center. This tour was awesome and worth every penny.

The view from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is breathtaking. It is a long basically non-scenic drive bit totally worth every minute to reach one of the seven wonders of the world. If you get a chance to walk the trail, please be sure to take advantage of the opportunity because every view is different and the pathways around the canyon are well designed.

This trip was amazing. Our bus driver/tour guide Devin was great. I love how he made everything clear to how the trip was going to be laid out. He was on time and made sure we were on time as well which made for a great trip since we had a drive from Vegas to Arizona for the grand canyon. The bus was clean and rode smooth like floating on air. We watched movies to past time. I recommend this trip for anyone. We had reasonable stops for rest, snacks, lunch, etc. We saw the Hoover Dam on the way back from Grand Canyon. It was beautiful at night. Thanks from the Briscoe

ust back from Vegas and took this trip. It was a long day but well worth the time. We started off on time at 7:30 am and was at the Grand Canyon South Rim at around 12:30 pm. There was one stop at the Hoover Dam about 30 to 40 minutes so you can walk up and take some pictures of the Hoover and read some of the history on the way up or down. Our bus driver took the time to slow down the bus so that people that could not hike up to see the Hoover Dam could see the dam as we cross the Colorado River on our way to the Grand Canyon. We had a short stop at a 5 star restaurant McDonalds for some breakfast. Lunch was supplied and there was a variety of choices at the Grand Canyon Attraction Centre. We took in the iMax experience at the visitor centre extra cost. There were two stops to view the Grand Canyon both lasting about an hour so you can hike about 20 - 25 minutes and take all the pictures. On the way back we had to stop for a short break and because it was dark out, our driver slowed down when he got to the Hoover Dam again so that we could take pictures of the Dam with the lights on. Our driver did not give us his name but he was bald and had an accent. He was excellent in getting us there and back and we had a few laughs both ways as it was quite a trek. We commend Gray Line on getting everyone back safely but our replacement driver told us it could take up to 3 hours to drop everyone off at their respective pickup locationIt all depends on where people were staying from our bus. We ended up getting off close to our hotel and took a Lyft ride with another couple. Overall a great experience. We would recommend this tour if you don't mind the time commitment started at about 6 am and ended at around 10:30 pm. You get the most spectacular view of the Grand Canyon and some pictures to treasure.

WHAT A GREAT DAY. Our guide was excellent and was with us at all times explaining what we were seeing and the historical significance of these places. Of course the canyon was the highlight of the tour. Nothing was a problem, and as it was such a hot day and I had my elderly mother with me, our guide at no time made us hurry. Thank you so much and I will most certainly recommend and use your company if we ever visit Vegas again.

The whole trip was faultless from start to finish. We were collected on time from our Hotel lobby as arranged and taken to the Tour Operator's premises where other groups joined our tour bus. The itinerary, commentary, tips and advice from our driver and tour guide made for a hassle-free day and maximised our time at each location. A very long, but thoroughly enjoyable day!

We were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, and had to walk across to the Alexis to be picked up at 6:15am the bus showed at about 6:30am. From there, we were taken to Grey Line terminal, and divided into south rim tour mine and west rim tour. There is a short presentation an up sell, then you get in line for wrist band and boarding pass. There is a small shop there that sells coffee, pastries, chips,etc. breakfast is not free. We left terminal at about 7:45am. If you can wait, the first stop is at a McDonalds about an hour and a half away in Kingman, AZ the time changes to mountain time, so its 10:30 9:30 Vegas time. Left McDonalds at about 11.
Bus driver was good. Bus tour guide is a recording. They played a really old movie Paul Blart Mall Cop. Free WiFi is limited to one hour. For cell phones, reception was ok. I have Sprint and was on extended LTE once out if Kingman. I have an unlimited plan, so check ahead on that beforehand.
We got to the National Geographic visitors center at about 1pm. There is an IMAX movie up charge, and lunch included, but not the best. For some reason I thought it was going to be a buffet. Its about 2 miles from canyon. Just before arriving there, we dropped off two groups of side tours: helicopter tour, and the pink jeep tour. FYI, the helicopter tour must be short, because they were back on the bus with us after lunch they received box lunches on the bus when they got back.
After lunch, the first stop is Mather Point about 10 minutes away. Theres is rest room there. Spent an hour. The Grand Canyon is definitely worth the trip. It is not what I expected. Your in a forest and walk a trail. You cant see it until you emerge from the trail, and it appears. It is breathtaking, and looking down can sometimes be difficult if you don't like heights.
Next stop is about another10 minutes. The Bright Angel Lodge is really cool. More great views, an old lodge, gift shops, little museum, etc. After an hour, it was back on the bus for trip home. Picked up the people who did the pink Jeep tour at the National Geographic visitor center, and headed out. Left at 5:20pm mountain time. That means 6:20pm in Las Vegas.
Another old movie Scorpion king. Stopped at a subway in Kingman about 7:45pm mountain time again to get a snack and use restroom. The subway is a pit. Before and after the movie, the narrated tour guide provides some trivia.

For some context, when we arrived for our tour, we upgraded to the VIP package which included the Mercedes Benz limo coach, breakfast i.e. a mini buffet of canned beverages, pastries, fruits, lunch, and a 3rd stop. We were also told that our bus had wifi, which was a big incentive as my partner and I are all about sharing our trip with our friends and family.
Our main complaints were that the seats were still a bit uncomfortable the limo coach pathways were extremely small/snug and the wifi did not work. The wifi issue was very annoying, and when we alerted the driver, he really wasn't much help.
However, overall, our driver got us to and back safely. As all other reviews state, it was an extremely long day, but we would totally recommend upgrading. Not only for the meal perks, but at each stop, our group was efficient because we were small. Given our small tour group, we were always on time and didn't have any stragglers, so it worked out beautifully.
The design of the trip coupled with the 3rd stop meant that we literally saw the Grand Canyon in late morning, afternoon, and at sunset. It was beautiful to capture all the changing colors. We ended our trip sipping hot coco as the sun set on the canyon. It was great!

We really enjoyed our tour , was a long drive but were kept entertained with movies and some historical facts on the area along the way. Decent lunch was provided and ample time to explore. Would definitely recommend.

It was a very long day, but it was worth the look.
It is just like every picture you have seen.
Bus driver was a really nice guy, but the trip home was a little frightening as he seemed in a rush and turned somewhat aggressive to the slow drivers on the road. Tailgating, flashing high beams etc

The trip, although very very long day, was great. The views were spectacular and gave a different aspect to the Grand canyon if you compare to the Western rim which is also spectacular. Make sure to take some snacks and drinks with you as only lunch is provided. Looking forward to another trip next year maybe Western rim again and the south after that. Great experience!

It was a long trip but worth it. Our guide Ryan was the best ever..Just great! The free lunch at the Park was a total bust. Food was terrible and they were out of most of the hot food. Coffee was old and cool. Please find a other place to eat.This was the reason I couldn't give 5 stars.The views were spectacular but the Canoyn restaurants had the lines so long you couldn't even get a drink.. All and all it was a great trip just bring your own lunch and drinks and hope you get Ryan for the guide!

I really enjoyed my Grand Canyon South Rim tour. My guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant. I got a chance to see all of the popular sights. This was a special birthday treat from my family and my only regret is that I wish I had of taken the West Rim tour as I would have loved to have walked on the skywalk.

The check in process was very easy, the people involved were very nice and straightforward. My boyfriend and I saw what we wanted to see and the trip was pretty much the most perfect amount of time for us.
My only complaint was that we were seated in the front of the bus and on the way back, our bus driver complained although rather obscurely that he had to drop us off at Boulder Station, which I understand his frustration but I found that rather unprofessional. Also, they were bent on selling you upgrades and additional tours, which was frustrating to have to listen to constantly.

I enjoyed this tour the bus was comfortable, the view on the road trip and in the grand canyon was something to see. I enjoyed the stop at the Hoover Dam although i would have like to spent at least a hour there so that part seemed rushed. It was a great experience.
