Crossing the Nile River to the West Bank, you'll visit the necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes. Arriving at the Valley of the Kings, burial place of the kings of Thebes (ancient Luxor), you will have a brief stop at the visitor's centre.
Guides are not permitted inside the tombs, but your guide will tell you what to look for inside the elaborately decorated rooms. Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Your guide will introduce you to the history of the temple and the story of Queen Hatshepsut, the famous female ruler of Egypt who posed as a male to gain the throne.
There is free time to explore at your leisure as you wander the large courtyards and admire the intricate hieroglyphic decorations.

great tour. we saw great places and heard stories about them. the places we saw were the most known ones (at least for me) but they also were beautiful and the guide talked about them interestingly. guide was good! he talked good english.

We could not have been more impressed with our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited. He went out of his way to make sure our visit was the trip of a lifetime. We are very grateful to our guide for making our stay so enjoyable. Our guide was the perfect host for our tour. He was fun, easy going, adapted quickly to our preferences and was a wealth of interesting information without overwhelming us. In addition to his knowledge he was an absolute pleasure to spend time with and when our tour was over, we felt like we had made a new friend. Overall, it was a wonderful.
