The highlights of the day are Thingvellir national park where you clearly see where the tectonic plates meet and pull the island apart. Geysir geothermal area with the geyser Strokkur shooting boiling water 20-40 meters up in the air. The water in Hvítá river travels from the glacier Langjökull, before cascading 32 meters (105 feet) down Gullfoss’ two stages in a dramatic display of nature’s raw power.

This incredible site is seen by most visitors, as it is on the Golden Circle sightseeing route, and finally, we put the Jeep in gear and head up to Iceland´s second largest glacier Langjökull. The endless ice cap covers only 1% of the island.

Our tour guide - Cathy, was 10/10! Absolute super star, humour, great driver and had a FAB day. We did the golden circle and snowmobile tour and have zero complaints from the time of pick off to the time of drop off. Kate was a super star. We started off at the National park, onto geysirs, lunch then snowmobiling before final stop off at the Gulfoss waterfall. I with the larger Skógafoss was included but I know other tours do ! Kate allowed us as much time as we needed at each location / gift shop!! She took photos for us and allowed extra time in the bar to celebrate our engagement - drinks all around ! The snowmobiling was fantastic. The handles were heated and overalls are provided. Car extremely comfortable and stops are nicely spaced out so you’re never in there for too long. We only had 2 others in our group (4 plus Kate in total!) Messaging on the Viator app was successful and fairly fast. My improvement would be that that I wish the location for lunch had a larger menu selection as it was only pizza, nothing else and no sides.

The snowmobiling was well organized and lots of fun. The superjeep was spacious, clean and cool. The entire experience was ok. Not as interactive as other tours we did.

We had an excellent guide because she was great and very knowledgeable about the sites on this tour. To sum up, you can book whenever you want. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The booking staff were great in customising the highlights tour for us so that we didn't double up with sights from our Private tour. The guides were great and the whole experience just took all the hassle away from the trip! Thanks.

This tour was brilliant. We saw all of the amazing sites and our tour guide was so helpful and full of knowledge. He took loads of great group pictures for us and knew everything about tour. Definitely recommend!
