  • African American Festival in North Carolina

If you are in Raleigh and Wake County during Labor Day weekend you should swing by the Cultural Festival. The event is free to the public. There is art, music, dance and food for you to experience.

  • Polynesian Festival

The Polynesian Festival is held annually at Onslow Pines Park in Jacksonville and is called PolyFest. PolyFest is a weekend long event where you will watch dances from New Zealand, Hawaii, Sonia and Tahiti. There will be fire dancing after sunset to light up your night. How exciting!

The North Carolina Seafood is àn annual festival held in Morehead City North Carolina. There are rides and games for kids. You can try lots of different seafood dishes from local restaurants.

 The Main Squeeze Festival is held by Duplin Winery. You will enjoy a day of food, Beach music, wine and beer.

  •  Chocolate Festival

 The Chocolate Festival is also held in Morehead City North Carolina. A portion of the profits go to breast cancer research. You can get private tours of the venue, chocolate massages, and attend an auction.

  • Azalea Festival, Wilmington North Carolina

Held in Wilmington North Carolina, the Azalea Festival features a 5k race, celebrity entertainment, beauty pageants, and a parade on top food, fun, and music!

  •  Carolina Renaissance Festival

One of the biggest Renaissance events in the United States, the festival is held in a beautiful picturesque village called Fairhaven. They have cute cottages, charming villagers, and creative ways for you to get involved.

  •  Seagrove Pottery Festival

Seagrove is considered the handmade pottery capital of the United States and hosts a festival that lasts an entire weekend. There are more than 100 shops to search through, demonstrations, and an auction of signed and dated pieces.

  •  First Night Charlotte

First Night Charlotte is a festival held on New Year’s Eve and features jugglers, a hip hop violinist, and an aerial performance. This is an alcohol free event and is fun for the whole family.

Never know a place with so many festivals, even seafood and chocaolate have their own festivals, which interested me a lot. I think I should visit Carolina after reading this article. Have to see those interesting festivals myself.
