Private Kyoto Garden Tour
Product code: 4785 We will visit Saihoji (Moss) which was designed by the famous landscaper Muso Soseki, this is one of many Gardens he originally designed, famous also for its Moss.
Next stop will be Okochi Sanso Villa (Traditional Japanese) Over a period of thirty years, the famed film actor, Denjiro Okochi (1898-1962) built this beautiful Garden that overlooks Kyoto. It is absolutely beautiful!
We will then visit Ryoanji Temple (Rock) This Temple is famous for its Rock Garden that no matter how you look at it, you can only see 14 of the 15 rocks placed in it.

Meet - Saihoji Temple We will meet at your hotel in Kyoto and head straight for the North of Kyoto for the Saihoji Temple and its famous Moss Garden. We will arrive at the station closest to Saihoji Temple and take a 20-minute walk (Or 5-minute cab ride if available). When we arrive we will walk around, enjoy ourselves and take in the sights!
We will then depart around 09:50 to make it back to the station in time for our train to Arashiyama.
We will catch the train at 10:10 and hopefully arrive at 10:19.
We will walk through Tenryuji Garden Pond area as it leads through to the Villa. Once we reach the garden, we will spend an hour here before departing for another train station. We will depart the gardens at roughly 12:00.
We will have a Traditional Japanese lunch at a friend's 100-year-old home. My friend is the Great-great-granddaughter of a local Samurai Warrior.
After lunch, we will depart for Ryoanji Temple Rock Garden at roughly 13:30.

When we arrive at the temple we will take around 30 minutes to fully enjoy this amazing place. Around 14:15 we will begin our trip back to Kyoto. We will arrive around 15:20 in Kyoto and you will be escorted back to your hotel.
