Xian Layover Private Tour of Terracotta Warriors

Our transportation was well organised from the airport and having a private guide show us around ensued that we learned a lot about the history of the site. It is hard to believe that they were discovered not that long ago and that no two faces are the same. Highly recommend.

It was a long day but the horse museum made the tour worthwhile for me and my family, some stages of the warriors were a little boring for my children but the tour guide was very helpful and tried to keep them engaged.

We organised this private tour before we travelled. It was a great sight to see and I recommend it if you are only in the area for a short time. Also, our guide spoke good English and was real friendly.

I saw a travelling exhibit of the Terra-cotta Warriors years ago, but seeing the site for real was a totally different experience. An amazing time with a great guide who ensured we would be back at the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight. Highly Recommended.

I would never have thought of taking a tour while we were at an airport waiting for our homebound flight. My son (who is never off the internet), found this tour and suggested that we should go and see the Terra-cotta Army. I was a little concerned as I am early for everything and did not want to miss our flight back to the UK. My son booked it anyway and we had a great time without any worries about missing our flight. We got picked up and dropped back to the airport exactly when the company said they would. Definitely would so this again if I ever had a long wait at an airport.

for us this was the best time we had in the China our guide had every details about this tour and he was wonderful my children did get a little boring at some points but also they enjoyed.

This has to be one of the most interesting historical sites I have ever seen. We had no trouble booking and were picked up and dropped off in time for our flight.

What i saw will remain embedded in my thoughts forever, if you have ever loved archeology this is an absolute must see and even if you don't, it is still a must see.

It is well worth the visit going to see this site. They are still working on it and say that there is much more to be dug up. Our guide was waiting at the airport and she was friendly with very good English. She also told us a lot about the culture at the time and took lots of photos for us. We were a family of four and our son and daughter really enjoyed seeing the warriors. An excellent tour to take.

A friend recommend taking this tour when they had a stop-over at the airport. I am a born worrier and was concerned about getting back to the airport on time for our connecting flight. This tour was booked for us as a gift from our daughter, while it was a nice tour it was a long day for us. The guide Z was helpful as my husband has some difficulty walking but it was really a great day thanks to the tour company.

If you are going to have a layover in Xian, then you should really take this tour to see the Terracotta Army. It is a once in a lifetime experience and getting picked up at the airport by our own private driver and guide really made our day special. TheTerracotta Army were incredible to see in person. It's amazing how much we were able to see, and yet there is so much more still uncovered. Thank you for looking after us so well and we will be recommending you to all of our friends in Oz.

Our guide provided plenty of information on this day trip from the airport. She also showed great patience with my 6 year old. The car was very comfortable and clean and the Terra-cotta Army itself was amazing to see.

I was surprised at the number of people in the queue it was a long day and the driver was a little late picking us up but the tour was good and awesome value for money.

The site has 3 pits which are open to public and pit 1 is the best. This is a must visit site in China to understand the essence of culture and history of china. overall the tour was very well organised with no issues at all and to think we were going to hang about the airport all day.
