This half day private city tour starts in the morning at 08:30 am or in the afternoon at 01:30 pm. Please indicate your preferred visiting time when making the booking.

Our private tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel at the appointed time to enrich your travel experience in Xi’an - one of the birth places of Chinese culture and the capital of thirteen dynasties. Shaanxi History Museum is regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures”.

Firstly you will visit this History Museum to have a miniature overview of the thousands of years of Chinese history and the splendid ancient cultures of ancient times. Then follow your expert tour guide to explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda standing in the Da Ci'en Temple complex, which holds the old Buddhist relics and classics taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang and is rated as a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve.

After strolling around the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square and the pedestrian street, the tour guide and driver will transfer you back to the hotel.

The History Museum has a great history of China, but take the morning tour as it can get very busy during the day and it was very hot going around but a awesome tour.

Xi’an shows the diversity of Chinese history, combining different cultures from both east and Muslim cultures and which you really get an understanding of if you visit the museum. The Pagoda has some really nice temples nearby and we were lucky as our guide was very helpful and spoke good English.

The grounds are beautiful around the pagoda and the history and age of many of the things you are seeing is amazing. It made such a difference having a private tour as we learned a lot, especially at the museum. Well worth booking.

A great museum with many real artifacts. Warning...it gets very busy!!. The Pagoda was more relaxing and overall this is a good tour to take.

If you are in xian and have some time to spend apart from terra cotta army, then this tour is great. You get to visit prominent sites in xian. The museum was really good and with private guide it is even better. The pagoda has a rich cultural heritage and I highly recommend this tour.
