Dinner & Cruise with Live music on Christmas Eve in Budapest

Bring the spirit of Christmas a little closer with this special 2-hour cruise on 24 December. You will have the chance to try out all of the greatest dishes the Hungarian kitchen can offer while enjoying traditional gypsy and folk music performed by three members of the world famous Rajkó Folk Ensemble and Orchestra. 

The wide variety of Hungarian, international dishes and Christmas specialities are prepared by world champion food sculptor Péter Molnárka who ensures that they will meet all your expectations, whether you’re a vegetarian, a gourmet or a real sweet-tooth. 

What makes this cruise really special is its timing. With this 2 hour cruise, you will have a chance to see the city with all of its illuminated glory. The ships are heated and have open-air balconies where you can freely admire the exquisite night panorama. 

Christmas is a quiet day in Hungary, the shops are mainly closed, people hurry home to celebrate with their families and the whole country seems to stop and rest for a while in honour of the holy day.

This cruise starts at 18:00 and 21:00 and the meeting time is 17.30 and 20:30

Cold Entrees - Spiced cottage cheese cream and traditional greaves cream 

Soups - Alföld style goulash with small dumplings, From autumn to spring: Vegetable cream soup, Summertime: Cold fruit soup 

Warm main courses - Mini stuffed cabbage, Traditional chicken leg "Paprikasch”, Roasted chicken breast with basil-cheese sauce, Spicy pork rib with thyme – mustard sauce, Roasted sea fish with Chardonnay sauce
