Our representative will pick you up from your Hotel in Cairo to accompany you for a visit to the famous sites of El Fayoum. Let us start our visit with Lake Qaroun, here you will see an amazing array of migratory birds . Lake Qaroun is the 3rd largest Lake in Egypt and is apparantley the oldest natural lake in the world.

You will visit Wadi El Rayyan, which is a protected area. Here at Wadi El Ryyan is a natural depression and you have the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic Waterfalls which are connected by two Lakes.

Discover the main Temple at Medinet Madi. The Temple was built by Pharaohs Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV and were dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and Serpent Goddess Renenutet.

See the many fossils of extinct whales at Wadi Al Hitan, known as Whale Valley before you enjoy a night under the stars in a campsite.

You can take the opportunity to see the beautiful Mudawara Mountain before journeying onto Qasr Qaroun where you will visit the remains of the Greco Roman City of Dinysios.
The Temple was dedicated to the God Sobek and from the outside appearance it is very square but once inside there are rooms and staircases which lead to the roof. Not many of Egypt’s Temples have roofs and many that have do not allow access so this makes a unique must to see visit.

You will go to Karanis, which was a town where 2 Temples were built to worship the God Sobek, Petesouchos and Pnepheros. Both these Temples contain the incredible house of the Crocodile.
