A Glimpse Of Mekong Delta Ben Tre & Can Tho from Saigon
Product code: 2027 On the first day of your tour, we will depart from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to travel to Ben Tre, crossing the Rach Mieu cable-stayed bridge.
Once we have arrived at Ben Tre, we will board a small boat to visit typical workplaces including a small brick factory, a coconut processing workshop and a local mat-weaving house.
Stopping at a quiet village for a short walk to witness local life and then we will travel on a Xe-Loi (a kind of motorised rickshaw) to reach a charming local restaurant.
After lunch, you can rest for a while in a hammock, or why not take a short cycling ride to explore the surrounding fields before we board a sampan for a tranquil trip along the picturesque canals. Coming back to the port to visit a local market before heading to Can Tho.
On the second day of your tour and after you have had breakfast, we will check out of the hotel early in the morning. Taking a motorboat cruise along the Mekong River to reach the Cai Rang floating market.
Walk the quiet country road meeting locals, before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City. En route, we will visit the famous Binh Thuy ancient house chosen as one of the locations for the recording of the romantic film “The Lover”.
We will have lunch en route to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), arriving in the afternoon where over tour will come to an end.
