Our guide helped to find interesting angles, critiqued shots in real time (she is refreshingly honest) and showed me new features and functions on my camera (Sony a6300) that I didn't know existed. I got some nice shots, learned a ton and will definitely go back for more.

Absolutely an amazing tour. It's a must do, especially if you're interested in learning how to see NYC from a different angle and perspective. You cover many sights in three hours.

The photographer is fantastic and I intend to come back again as soon as possible. I've had three sessions now. True, I learned about my camera and I got great shots of New York. But more importantly -- my shots are so much better thanks to the one-on-one attention even in the group setting. I've learned a ton about composition and how to make my photos compelling.

This is a great course, so much was covered in our morning session. We were a small group of fairly average photographers and we were guided patiently and informatively by our guide. Each of us got the attention we needed to achieve some fabulous pictures on the day and we each took away a vast amount of new knowledge and confidence with our cameras. I'd highly recommend this course and can't wait to sign up for another.

This was the most fantastic tour. Our guide has been a professional photographer for many years and loves her craft. She is also a great teacher. Apart from seeing some of the famous sites in New York, I learned more about photography on this tour than I ever imagined possible. Don't miss this iconic New York tour!

Our guide was an amazing instructor and taught me techniques to sharpen my skills. She made them understandable so my photos look more professional. She truly enjoys what she does and it showed in the way she teaches. I highly recommend NYC Photo Safari and look forward to learning more from other safari’s.

I definitely learnt quite a lot in the three hours we had together and would definitely recommend the tour to photographers at least in the beginner/intermediate category. A great way to learn more about the city too!

Our guide created a fun and informative atmosphere. From camera settings to composing the shots, she had suggestions, tips and directions that should help me for years to come. My wife was shooting with an iPhone 8 and I a full frame DSLR. Could well be that the iPhone photos were better. We saw sights, learned about the city and most important grew as photographers
