Overview

Day 1: You will be picked from the accommodation by the guide/driver in the morning after breakfast, after which he will brief you and you embark on the 6 hours’ journey to Queen Elizabeth. Along the way, you will have few stopovers at the Equator, here you will take enough photographs and head to Mbarara town where you will stop for lunch and also view various attractions and city walk in Mbarara. After lunch, proceed to the Park as you drive through the spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, Ankole long horned cattle, tea plantations, the Rift valley escarpment and various woodlands. Reach the park in late afternoon and have a game drive as you drive to your lodge. Have dinner and there spend an Overnight at the camp fire. Overnights; Mweya safari lodge (Luxury)

Day 2: Have an early morning game drive on different trails in the park including the Kasenyi trail to see various animals like water bucks, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, warthogs as well as various birds. After the drive of about 4 hours, go back to the lodge and have breakfast, have simple nature walks around the lodge and have some entertaining board games and also lunch at your lodge. Later after lunch, you will have a boat cruise along Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward, while on the boat you will see a number of animals on the lake shore like Hippos, crocodiles and buffaloes, zebras and kobs that come to drink water and also birds like malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, on the banks and in trees. After head back to the lodge for dinner and Overnight at the campfire. Overnight: Mweya safari lodge (Luxury)

Day 3: Have a morning breakfast, then check out of the lodge, have a primate walk for chimpanzee trekking at Kyambura gorge which takes about 4 hours before you head in for lunch. Some of the attractions to see along the way back to town may include Mpambire drum centre where you will see how drums are made by the locals and also be in position to buy some souvenirs at different local craft shops to support the local community, proceed to Kampala, where you will be dropped off at your hotel in the evening or at the airport if your flight is due on that the.

Our clients should also note that the first day of the trip is simply for the drive or flight to the destination as shown on the itinerary and has a few activities planned. We advise that you be conversant with our representative who will take you through the Predeparture briefings. NOTE: Entebbe international airport is your gateway to and from Uganda. To avoid inconveniences that are occasioned by rushing at the time of departure, we advise that you book international flights departing from Entebbe after 8pm.   • FORCE MAJEURE: It is with regret that our office cannot compensate where an impediment to proper performance of duty is as a result of an event above and beyond our own making, control and anticipation nor is it due to the supplier of the service in question. Such events may include unexpected government quarantines, travel bans, riots, civil strife, natural disaster, terrorist acts, border closure, fire, road closures, industrial disputes, extreme weather conditions and other incidents beyond our control. NOTE: In some unfortunate circumstances, getting a park or Gorilla permit may not be guarantee to seeing wildlife in their habitats as unfavourable local conditions may sometimes hinder access to the wildlife. This can happen without prior notice or it can be at short notice. We therefore accept no liabilities in circumstances where Gorilla or wildlife viewing is due to cancellation by the authorities. Where the loss is due to the absence of Gorillas, closure of boarders, national park or security changes, refunding is at the discretion of the responsible offices. However, our tour director shall use all means necessary to obtain the monies / refunds and pass it on to the client.
  • PRIVACY: We understand and respect the value and importance of your privacy. Be assured therefore that protection of privacy is given the highest priority. All personal information that you avail to us is strictly used for purposes of Safari tour booking. We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information which we hold about the guest. However, cognizant of the rampant cases of hacking into data on the internet, it becomes a bit tricky to guarantee 100% security to data shared through online sources. We therefore will not be held culpable if the breach or hacking into your personal information is by international unauthorized individuals.
  • TRAVEL INSURANCE: This tour requires that all traveller should have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and all personal Emergencies, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation.   • TERMS AND CONDITIONS: ACCOMMODATION: Prices for a twin/double shared room are per person, and, rates for single or triple travelers are available on request.
