On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by one of our representatives and taken to your hotel for check-in and where details about your trek will be explained.

Today is a leisure day where we can do some last minute shopping for the trek such as trekking gear and canned food.
As an option, we can also visit World Heritage Sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupati Nath, Swayambu Nath and Boudha Nath.

After breakfast, we will travel to the scenic city of Pokhara via the Prithvi Highway.
This beautiful bus ride will be approximately 6 hours long and we will see luscious green hills, dwindling rivers and the Himalayas in the distance on our way.
Pokhara will serve as our gateway to the Annapurna Region. We can travel around this beautiful lake city in the evening.

Today after breakfast we will take a 2-hour taxi drive to Nayapul from Pokhara.
Here we will begin our trek and we will follow the trail down to the beautiful village of Birethanti, crossing the suspension bridge over the Bhurungdi River.
Initially the trail winds along the Modi River and then up to Syauli Bazaar. Leaving the river bank, we then hike on a winding path until we reach Kimche.
From Kimche, the trail further ascends towards Ghandruk a beautiful Gurung village.

Today we will follow the banks of the Modi River. We will ascend for some time and then leave the river behind as we climb towards huge boulders.
Walking past the boulders, we cross the bridge over the Kimrong River and climb a steep trail that will take us to the Gurung village of Chhomrong, passing Jhinu Danda.
From Chhomrong, we cross the bridge across the Chhomrong river and enjoying the view of bamboo, rhododendron and oak forests, as we hike up to Sinuwa.

Today we will continue along the bamboo forest until we pass Kuldhigar. Then a steep stone staircase will take us to Dobhan, crossing a suspension bridge.
The trail is accompanied by bamboo, rhododendron and oak forests. Then a steep climb continues through the valley towards the Himalayas and Hinku Cave.

Today will finally take you to the Annapurna base camp.
A gentle climb on a trail along the Modi River will first take us to Bagar. From Bagar, a strenuous hike will take us to the base camp of Machhapuchhre (3,700m).
We will rest here for about an hour taking photographs and enjoying the view of Machhapuchhre along with other snow-capped peaks towering above 7000-8000 meters.
After our rest, we will follow a wide trail that leads us to the Annapurna Sanctuary. We then finally reach our destination, the South Annapurna Base Camp that greets us with 360 degree vista of snow-covered peaks.

Today we will trek down through Bagar, Deurali and Dobhan to Bamboo.
The trail is accompanied by a waterfall, cave, temple and passes through forests of rhododendron, oak and bamboo forest.
After walking for about 6 hours, we finally reach the destination of the day, that is, Bamboo.

We will hike down to the bridge across the Chhomrong River passing Sinuwa.
After we cross the bridge we will enter the beautiful Gurung village of Chhomrong.
From Chhomrong, a steep descent will take us to Jhinu Danda. The Jhinu hot spring is 15-20minutes downhill from Jhinu Danda and here you can relax your tired muscles by taking a relaxing dip in the hot spring bathing pool.

Crossing the bridge over the Modi River, the trail initially passes through sporadic bamboo forests, which then crosses various small settlements. The route continues up and downhill, decorated with terrace farms featuring seasonal crops till we reach Syauli Bazaar.
From Syauli Bazaar onwards the trail is flat up till Nayapul. Following this flat trail, we walk up to Birethanti.
Crossing the bridge over the Bhurungdi River we walk up to Nayapul where we will catch a taxi or a private vehicle at Nayapul and which will take us to Pokhara after about a 2 hours ride. Over night in Pokhara and trek end.
