Situated at an altitude of 4300 m, the Annapurna Basecamp Trek is considered to be a natural amphitheater, as it is surrounded all around by numerous high peaks.
The Annapurna Basecamp can be reached by passing through forests of bamboo and rhododendron.

Upon your arrival, our staff will receive you at the airport and take you to your hotel.
Refresh and relax in the afternoon and enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening where you will be introduced to your trekking guide.

Today you will enjoy a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu.
You will visit two world heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley, namely Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambunath (Monkey Temple).

Your trekking guide will meet you at 6.00 AM in the morning and take you to the Tourist Bus Station.
You will enjoy travelling alongside the Trisuli and Marshyangdi rivers, passing beautiful sceneries and rural villages on the way.
Upon arrival at Pokhara, we will check into our hotel, freshen up, then your guide will take you boating on Fewa Lake. We will also take a walk around the lake.

After breakfast, we will drive you to Nayapul and commence our Annapurna Base Camp Trek right way.
We will pass by Birthanthi village where your trekking permits are checked before continuing and observing the beautiful scenery of the waterfalls and the forest.
Crossing the Modi Khola river, we keep left for Thikhe Dhunga and Ulleri for our first overnight in rural Nepal.
As we continue our trek, we will cross the Bhurungdi river and after crossing two suspension bridges at Tikhedungda, we will climb almost 3000 steps up Ulleri hill and finally step-into the lodge where we will stay.

From here, the trail goes gradually up and the views of Annapurna South and Hiun Chuli are seen from the top of Ulleri.
We pass by dense rhododendron and oak forests and the villages of Banthanti and Nangethani.
When we arrive in Ghorepani village, we will see beautiful panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.

You will be given a wakeup call to get ready for your trek to Poon Hill which is an ideal sunrise spot to see the panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri and Anapurna ranges.
Walking in the dark with help of torchlight, we will arrive at Poon Hill after 45 minutes and we will spend about a half an hour before returning to our Guest House for breakfast.
We will then pack our bags and continue to trek to Tadapani via Deurali and Banthanti.
Along the trail, we will definitely see monkeys and some beautiful birds. Tadapani itself an excellent viewpoint to see close-up views of Annapurna South (7129m), Hiun Chuli (6440m) and The Fishtail (6997m.

Today, we go downhill for 2 hours. We will cross a small stream and then gradually climb to the Gurung settlement of Gurjung.
We will continue to Chhomrong for lunch and take a rest for the rest of the day.
Chhomrong is a large settlement of the Gurung community. You will explore the village and interact with the people.

Observing a morning view from Chomrong, we continue our trek to get to Himalaya via Bamboo and Dovan.
Today's walking is completely different as we walk through a deep gorge on the banks of the Modi river.
Today you will hear the noise of the Modi river along with the birds in the background while walking, and that will fully concentrate your mind on nature.
You will have a chance to see some wildlife including monkeys and Himalayan goats.

Today, we trek towards our final destination Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).
You will be overwhelmed by the scenic beauty of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
In the afternoon, your guide will take you for a close-up view of Annapurna I where you will see Annapurna glacier, Annapurna South (97200m), Hiun Chuli (6444m), Fishtail (6793m), and Annapurna III will be standing at your back.

We will wake up early in the morning and see the magnificent sunrise view and you will have a chance to take photos while the sun rays are hitting the Himalayas before breakfast.
We will then return to Bamboo hiking all the way downhill. You will lose almost 2000 metres in 6-7 hours on the way to Bamboo.

Leaving Bamboo behind, we climb for 30 minutes to reach Khuldighar, then the trail goes gradually up, then flat before going downhill until we arrive Sinuwa.
We trek downhill again and after crossing over the Chhomrong Khola, uphill to up to Chhomrong village, where we take will stop for lunch.
From here the trail descends very steeply for an hour to the village of Jhinu. We will drop off our bags and go for a bath in the hot springs descending to Modi Khola river.

Today is the last day of the Annapurna Base Camp trek.
Leaving Jhinu, we firstly descend, cross the river and follow the flat all the way to Birethanti before returning to Nayapul.
We drive to Pokhara where you will check into your hotel and your “Happy Hour” starts thereafter.

You can either drive back to Kathmandu or alternatively take a 30 min flight at an additional cost.
After this successful journey to Annapurna Base Camp, we will offer a farewell dinner at an authentic restaurant in Kathmandu.

As per your departure time schedule, we will drive you to the international airport for your return journey and wish you a sad goodbye.
