Our Reflections representative will pick you up by A/C vehicle from your hotel in Cairo and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. When you have arrived at Luxor International Airport, our guide will be waiting to meet you.

Travel to the West Bank where you will visit the fantastic Valley of the Kings and explore the grand and majestic necropolis of millions of years of the pharaohs. Then continue your visit to the Temple of Queen Hatchepsut, who was the 1st queen in history to send a diplomatic expedition to the land of Punt.

After this, you will pass by the two Colossi of Memnon. After the great war of Troy, people used to hear a sad voice coming from inside the two statues. However, the voices were a result of friction between the air and tiny holes inside the statues, and once they were restored, the sound disappeared.

Enjoy a local lunch at the East Bank before visiting Karnak Temples. These temples are the largest religious structure the world has ever known and covers a massive area of about 60 acres. The Karnak temples can be read like a history book of Egypt from the middle kingdom to the Ptolemaic period. They were dedicated to the god Amon-re, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu.

You will have a fantastic time visiting the amazing Temple of Luxor, which was dedicated to the god Amon-re. The temple provides a fascinating case study in the growth and expansion of Egyptian Temples, and nit may have been built on the site of even earlier temple structures. The temple was first started by king Amenophis 3rd of the 18th dynasty and continued by king Ramesses 2nd of the 19th dynasty.
