Nour El Nile Dahbaiya Cruises
Relax and enjoy the beauty of the magical Nile onboard the Nour El Nile Dahabiya Cruise. Explore the Ancient sites between Esna and Aswan as you sail in comfort and style on board this deluxe Dahabiya Cruise.
Your Egyptologist guide will be waiting at Luxor International Airport or Railway station to meet and escort you for a tour to Esna, which is located approximately 33 miles south of Luxor.
Here you will embark your Dahabiya. Esna is well known for the small ancient Temple of Khnum, which sits 10 meters below street level. Your tour will begin with a short walk to the Temple and a stroll through the streets which are filled with beautiful textiles and other exotic goods.
Admire the scenery as you sail to El Kab, which is on the East Bank of the Nile. El Kab was once the capital of Upper Egypt known as Alsaeid in Arabic and is still home to the Temple of Nekhbet.
At the temple, you will explore a row of fascinating decorated tombs carved into the slope of the mountains. You will have an amazing time visiting Edfu Temple, which is dedicated to the god Horus. A Horse and carriage will take you to the Temple through the bustling city streets. You have plenty of time to sail, swim in the Red Sea as well as taking a walk through the desert at dusk.
Enjoy the stars at night as we will dock at the foot of the floodlit Temple of Gebel Silsileh. This part of the Nile flows between two mountains ranges and is at it’s narrowest.
Usually, you will be the only visitors at this fascinating site, as large Nile cruisers are not allowed to stop here. Visit the Temple of Horemheb and take a walk through the sandstone quarries where the Ancient Egyptians cut stone for many of their most famous temples.
After spending a night on the water underneath the starry skies, we have a morning trip to the town and Temple of Kom Ombo. The Temple was built during the Ptolemaic period and is dedicated to the Crocodile headed God Sobek.
After enjoying the temple, you will visit the new Crocodile Museum, which contains many mummified crocodiles. At the end of your cruise, you will be left feeling relaxed and have many magical memories which will last a lifetime.
