Dahshur is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt which holds many famous Pyramids including the Red and Bent Pyramids of King Sneferu.
The Bent Pyramid was the first to be built and was called Bent because of a building flaw which made the weight too heavy for the pyramid. The Red Pyramid so-called because of the colour it turns after it rains.
We now proceed to visit Saqqara, or Sakkara, or Saccara as there are three spellings for this place.
This is where the world-famous Step Pyramid of Djoser is, which is the world's oldest major stone structure.

Amazing trip with excellent views, pictures, food, and commentary. Our tour guide was a terrific guide - not only did she ensure that we had a great experience during the trip, but she also gave us recommendations for the future. PERFECT TOUR. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting.

This tour was definitely a highlight of our time in my life. we were concerned about spending the money for a private tour and maybe not being able to complete it but We were not disappointed because Our guide was wonderful and our daughter was amazed at how she told her stories about city. We knew we were in good hands as soon as we met our guide. You could tell he was really passionate about his city and he shared Informative and interesting details about the local history that really added to the tour. Definitely a recommended tour group!
