Tandem Paragliding from Babadag Mountain - Oludeniz
Overview
A must-do in a lifetime! Oludeniz became one of the paragliding capitals since the early ’90s. Having Babadag Mountain with an altitude of 1969 meters right next to the best beach of Mediterranean, pilots started flowing in.
Since then paragliding became one of the most important features of Oludeniz region. Many professional single pilots travel here every year to enjoy one of the best paragliding flights in the world.
The excitement of the take-off, the incredible view below you, and acrobatic moves if you want to try them. An activity you will never ever forget!
You will be picked up from your accommodation within Fethiye and brought back if requested. After pick up, it takes about 2 hours including the drive up to the mountain and the flight.
You will spend anything between 20 to 40 minutes in the air depending on the weather conditions and acrobatic movements if you choose to do them. We can also pick you up from Dalaman, Bodrum or Antalya airports as well with an extra fee.
There are 6 flights every day starting at 6 am till sunset. You may send us a message with the preferred flight time but it is subject to our confirmation. You will be doing tandem flight which means you are flying with a pilot. The pilot has all the controls and all you have to do is enjoy the flight.
How safe is it? In paragliding, there are three important factors. The weather, expertise of the pilot and the quality of the equipment. Babadag mountain national park, which is the take-off land, is under the control of the flight council of Fethiye.
This council has representatives from the government, pilot's association, whether forecast specialists and the city council. They are the sole authority to open or close the mountain for takeoffs. So the weather factor is under the control of multi-disciplined specialists.
All our pilots have 15 to 20 years of experience which is equivalent to a minimum of 450 hours of flight. They are the main factors that create a difference once you are in the air.
Paragliding is classified as an extreme sport and pilot's expertise level is what you can rely on if something goes unexpected during the flight. We renew all our flight equipment every year to maintain quality.

Know Before You Go
- You are not obliged to buy the pictures and the video taken by the pilot but you are not allowed to take pictures anytime during the flight, take off or landing using your own camera/phone of any sort.
- If you weight more than 100 kilos you CANNOT fly
- If there is no take off permission granted due to bad whether, you may fly once the permission is granted your you may get a FULL REFUND
- You must have shoes without heels. You are not allowed to take off with slippers or bare foot. Please inform us if you do not have shoes, we'll provide you with a pair.

The whole operation was a success. They picked us up from our hostel, ride to the mountain was a bit scary but pleasant. The pilot was a real fun. He showed me and my partner all the details and we were up i the air in 5 minutes. That moment when you feel you are not touching the ground is amazing. I was quite nervous before but once in the air it all disappeared. It was great to be in the air without any mechanical sounds. Nothing comparing to what I did before. When the pilot offered the spins, I was not sure but I thought why not. That was the peak of all feelings. You loose track of time, place, everything but it was amazing. The pictures I have is unique. We landed on the beach in two steps. It was overall great. They offered us a ride back to the hostel but we decided to stay on the beach. Highly recommended.

Hablé en el Hostel con la recepción, ellos arreglaron todo para el día siguiente. Se demoraron un poco en recogerme, luego entendí que por el tráfico, cuando me monte a la van, ya dejé de preocuparme. La subida a la montaña fue muy divertida, una vez estando arriba, todo ocurrió muy rápido, un poco tiempo todo estaba listo y unos 5 pasos después ya estabamos volando. Una vez en el aire todo fue mágico, me encantaron las fotos, fueron como dos horas dando vueltas, el piloto estuvo excelente, lo super recomiendo, una de las mejores actividades que he hecho. Luego aterrizamos en la playa y quede tomandome unas cervezas y viendo el atardecer.

Great vibres. Tugrul, the guy organized it all was great. The flight man, it was just perfect. There was a slight delay at the pick up but it seems like there was an issue about the previous flight take off permissions so it affected our pick up but not to worry.
