<p>One chilly morning over 100 balloons went up from near our hotel in Cappadocia. It was worth the money we paid, an exceptional experience with a lunar landscape below. It was one of the best parts of our tour to Turkey.</p>

Our family of six spanning three generations booked this tour. Our guide was excellent and was with us at all times explaining what we were seeing and the historical or social significance of these sites. This was an amazing and unforgettable experience! Everything was organized well, the pick up was just as it was promissed, very punctual, the preparations for the flight went fast, smooth and pretty interesting. The flight itself was...just wow..like in fairytale! After landing we got a glass of the champagne to celebrate the ride and safe landing and then headed back home full of happy memories! I must say it was an excellent experience. We were collected from our hotel just before 6 am and driven in comfort to the take off area. The balloons were being fired up, and the atmosphere was quite exciting. I felt butterflies when we finally took off, but they soon subsided. Quite glad I took a light jacket as the temperature dropped. We enjoyed breakfast and soft drinks. The pilot was so friendly and made it even more unique, and we loved the flight certificate and champagne to round off the trip.

I was originally a bit reluctant about making this excursion as some accidents had been reported in the UK press. I am so delighted I chose to go ahead. We came to see the balloon being inflated as we had coffee and cookies. The adventure itself on the balloon was outstanding.

I found the Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tour as a challenge for myself, as I was one of the older passengers But I was helped by a strong staff into the basket.
