We also offer tastings of the unique South African cultivar The Pinotage. The Pinotage is a red wine grape that is South Africa's signature variety. It was bred here in 1925 as a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut grape and the signature Pinotage vintages are prolific in the Stellenbosch area

We loved the tour. Our guide was an absolute pleasure. She took the initiative to talk to each one of us and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Also helped us understand the wine, culture and history of of Cape Town /South Africa. We tried over 18 different types of wine and even had some brandy. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for to escape the city and enjoy the beautiful vineyards of Cape Town.

This was a superb tour an was made even better by having a great guide. The tour took us to 3 different wine farms where we got to taste over 30 wines , as well as learning something about the production and history of the wines at each location. I would definitely recommend this tour.

From the moment we were picked up (spot on time), the guide was brilliant. We had a mixture of old and young people on board but he soon had us integrated and chatting. The vineyards were great and in all but one the staff were most attentive. If you like wine, take this trip. the guide is full of knowledge and walks you through the world of wine as the day goes on. I thought 9 hours would be too long - but not a bit of it.

Our guide and driver was very friendly, helpful and informative. He picked us up from our hotel punctually and kept the itinerary to schedule. The vineyards visited were superb and each tasting event professionally run. A great day out.
