Sintra-Cascais-Estoril Full Day Private Tour w/ Port Wine Tasting
Product code: 885 This is a Private Full Day Tour with a Private Driver/Guide that will start at around 9AM at your hotel/apartment/cruise. Transportation will be provided by standard car with air-conditioning for 4 pax + driver.
We will drive straight to Sintra and start with a stop at the town centre, where you will be invited to try the traditional pastry from this place (Travesseiro and Queijada) in one of the factories where they are baked daily.
After this stop we will move on to the top of the hill where you will have the opportunity of stopping in a couple of viewpoints that face the Moorish Castle and the Pena Palace and you will be able to choose between one of them for a visit inside (tickets not included, but we can provide them).
We will then go back to the town centre where you will be given time for a nice portuguese lunch that your Driver/Guide can recommend amongst the local restaurants we know (own expense).
After a nice lunch you will be invited to try some Port Wines and get to know a bit more about how they are made and the stories behind them (Included).
Head on to the shore, passing by amazing places such as the Regaleira Estate, the Seteais Palace, the Monserrate Palace and stop at the coastal town of Azenhas do Mar for a great photo opportunity.
After this stop we will move on to the Westernmost point in Mainland Europe - Cabo da Roca, for another great photo opportunity and exploring. Taking the scenic road down to Cascais, you will pass by the Guincho beach, a surfers hotspot where the World Surfing League takes place every year and we will stop at a beautiful rock formation called "Boca do Inferno".
You will be given free time to wander around the streets of Cascais. On the way back to Lisbon, we will take the coastal road that goes along the ocean and then the river, making a stop for a photo at the Estoril Casino gardens, the place that inspired Ian Flemming to write 007 - Casino Royale and was once the biggest casino in Europe.
You will be dropped off at your starting point or another of your convenience close to 6PM.
