Private Sintra & Atlantic Coast Small Group Tour

Give yourself the greatest pleasure in Portugal – a tour to the Edge of the Earth, to Cape Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, and to fabulous Sintra! 

A busy sightseeing day starts when we leave the capital of Portugal to find ourselves in the Greater Lisbon area. It is worth seeing where the Tagus River flows into the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy its power and strength. 

On our way, we will view ancient sea fortresses, lighthouses, beaches, small coves with colourful fishing boats, royal palaces and will get acquainted with the picturesque resort towns of Estoril and Cascais. 

This is the “Lisbon Riviera“, as the locals call it, where the sun shines 360 days a year and there are always many beach lovers! But in the past, it was a favourite place of European royal families and nobles. Many celebrities stayed in Estoril and Cascais. Some of them visited the Estoril Casino, others rushed to the Estoril circuit, where the competitions in the Formula 1 class were held, or they left their luxury yachts in the Cascais yacht club, to play golf or participate in the run of retro cars. 

Next is a small stop near the impressive place – Hell’s Mouth (Boca do Inferno) for bright photos. The road goes along the rocky cliffs, the conserved area with an amazing natural landscape and another interesting stop on the unique beach of Guincho, which is covered with dunes and is an ideal place for surfing and kitesurfing. 

The Cape Roca, or the Rocky Cape, where every tourist dreams to get, always greets guests in different ways, depending on the mood. It can be windy or completely calm but leaves the traveller an impression that will last a lifetime! 

Just imagine: to visit the edge of the earth! The spot where the land ends and the sea begins …. An indescribable state, a sense of freedom and joy awaits all those who visit the Cape Roca! 

The last stop on this tour is Sintra. “Pearl” of Portugal and the former royal residence, which overflows with history and is shrouded in mystery. There are luxurious royal palaces, villas of the richest people of the time, a Moorish fortress and wonderful gardens with exotic trees and plants. We will visit The Royal Pena Palace, which is in the Sintra Mountains, simply shocks with its architecture, flowers and park.  Seeing such an unusual structure, you may see some similarities to the palace of Sleeping Beauty from Disneyland. It is one of the most beautiful palaces in the world and the most visited in Portugal. 

Quinta da Regaleira is a mysterious place that attracts lovers of esotericism, nature, history and religion. It is a huge territory with a majestic palace in the style of neo-Manueline, with an exotic park, underground passages, grottoes and waterfalls, which was conceived as a paradise. But the most impressive here is the inverted tower under the ground, “Well of the Beginnings”, where you descend to enable a symbolic revival of your soul!
