Overview
Our Canyoning tours will take you to explore magnificent rivers and waterfalls using different techniques (such as jumps, rappel, and slides).
This excursion takes place in Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões, one of the most extraordinary places in the northeastern part of the island of São Miguel 45 minute drive away from the city of Ponta Delgada).
When we get there, we will proceed with the equipment distribution and a quick safety briefing, followed by a 15-30 minute hike towards the canyon where the fun will begin!
The highest rappel can reach up to 15 meters in height, and the highest jump up to around 6 meters (if you feel uncomfortable about the jumps, know that there are alternatives).

Pick-up serviceThe Pick-up time is usually between 08:00 and 08:30 AM at your accommodation. When the activity is over, we will leave you in the same place we picked you up.
Easy CancellationCancellations required in more than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the activity: full refund of the booking value. Refunds may take up to 30 days (from the date of the cancellation) to reach you. Cancellations required in less than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the activity or no attendance: total loss of the booking value. Unexpected weather conditions or other reasons considered relevant for the safety of their customers and staff. 2. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum required to start the excursion. In both cases, customers will be able to reschedule the excursion or receive a full refund. 3. If the participants are not eligible for the activity, regarding the minimum requirements or inappropriate conduct/behaviour. In this case, there will be no refund.

Know Before You Go
- You should contact us:
- If you plan to book an excursion for a group with more than 8 people;
- If you are interested in trying different activities / places, besides the ones we already offer (we can provide other options);
- If you can’t find the ideal booking option or date to fit your plans (we can try to make it possible).
- Bring swimwear (already dressed), a bath towel, your individual water bottle and sunscreen.
- Bring adequate clothing for the activity (which should protect you from the sun and wind).
- Bring comfortable clothes and shoes to use after the activity.
