Amsterdam Life Art Workshop
Overview
Amsterdam has been synonymous with fine art since the Dutch golden age of the 17th century.
Although life art had been a developing discipline for many years in the Netherlands, it was Amsterdam's favourite son, Rembrandt van Rijn, who revolutionised this art form.
At our life art drawing class, you will receive a short talk on the history of live art and will be shown examples of the different kinds of work, both realist and impressionist, that characterise this fascinating artistic discipline.
You will be shown several different techniques, including how to invoke a sense of scale and motion.
Our instructor is a passionate artist who loves to help others discover their talents – this is the perfect way to celebrate visiting one of the artistic capitals of the world.
We will provide painting materials and a model for you to draw, giving you an amazing opportunity to capture the essence of a real art model.
