Overview

The Everest Base Camp trek is the best trekking in the world, with spectacular mountain views and an opportunity to observe the tradition and culture of the Sherpa community.

The trek also offers the opportunity to go sightseeing around Sagarmatha National Park, a world heritage site that is home to a variety of Himalayan floras and faunas. Here you will visit the highest Buddhist monasteries in the world; and of course, the most rewarding sight of all, the trip to Everest Base Camp itself.

This trek takes you through popular places such as Namche, Hotel Everest view in Syangboche, Khumjung valley, Tengboche monetary, Gorakhshep and Kalapattar with the highest altitude of 5545m.

After trekking to Kalapattar we will return at a leisurely pace back to Namche and Lukla for our return flight to Kathmandu.

With The Everest Base Camp trek there are breathtaking mountains of pure, clean air, lakes and valleys all waiting to be explored.

As you go through the trek routes you will find challenging trails and paths to be investigated, and the adventurous will find the highlands more exhilarating and challenging. Trekkers will also appreciate the peace and beauty of the valleys.

As you pass the Buddhist monasteries, views of Everest get closer every day. Acclimatizing is very important therefore we will have rest days in the villages of Namche and Dingboche that will allow us to explore the region and acclimatize.

If you are planning your Nepal trekking program to the Everest Region during May – June or October – November, you will also have an opportunity to observe the world-famous Dumje festival and Mani Rimdu festival.
