En route we stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants on the road. Now, be ready for a unique adventure on the back of the camels crossing the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. While on the camels, enjoy breathtaking sceneries watching the colours of the sand dunes vary according to the intensity of the light.

After an hour by the camels, we will get to our Berber camp at the heart of Sahara Desert and you will have some free time. Enjoy an authentic Moroccan dinner washed down with some mint tea. This was an absolutely incredible experience. Khalid was so knowledgeable and helpful. He truly changed the trip for us. The Sahara is beautiful and the Atlas Mountains were surprising in size.

For our first and third nights, we stayed at hotels (the room stay as well as dinner are included in the tour price, but if you want alcohol that is extra). Both hotels were very nice, and the dinners also very good. The second night we stayed in the desert; we had a luxury tent fully equipped with functioning toilet and shower. However, it was a bit hot in the tent, so we actually slept outside on the sand dunes under the stars. The experience of our night in the Sahara was truly life-changing. We had an amazing camel ride through the dunes and then we sat down to a delicious feast under the stars. In addition, we were joined by about 5 or more musicians who played the drums and sang, and encouraged us to sing and dance. It was a great party,
