Overview

The city of Agra, situated on the banks of River Yamuna, is best remembered for the Shimmering White Jewel, the Taj Mahal. The ethereal monument of the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love, was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz, reflecting the experience of the greatest love story ever told.

The cities of Agra (including the Taj Mahal), Jaipur, and Delhi together form the “Golden Triangle”. With this tour package, you will also enjoy sightseeing tours of Agra Fort, Sikandara, and Fatehpur Sikri. After exploring Delhi and Agra, you will visit the joyous destination of Jaipur, the final stop of the golden triangle tour. Jaipur consists of the best forts and palaces, thereby making the visit the most royal one.

The “pink city” is definitely symbolic of the hospitality that once reigned in the Rajput culture. A heart-warming welcome in a traditional manner by the caparisoned elephants is bound to enthral everyone. You will also visit Ranthambore National Park in the Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state. Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places to view animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here.

The park covers an area of approximately 400 square kilometres, and if combined with the area of the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary area, it is around 500 square kilometres. Ranthambore National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957, in 1974 it gained the protection of "Project Tiger", and it got its status of a National Park in 1981.
