Overview

Explore the Mughal Trail with Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Tour includes buffet lunch, entrance fees, train tickets, private guide and hotel pickup and drop off

On this tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Delhi or Delhi airport and dropped off at Nizamuddin Railway station to catch the Gatimaan Express train for Agra.

Your guide and driver will be waiting to welcome you at the railway station with your name tag and you will proceed to the iconic Taj Mahal.

This monument was built with love and affection by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in the 16th century.

We will stop for a delicious lunch at a traditional Mughlai restaurant before proceeding to explore the majestic Agra Fort.

Agra Fort itself will tell you the tale of the Mughals and your guide will also give you a brief history. The fort was constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D and includes many other buildings like the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj, where Emperor Shah Jahan is believed to have been imprisoned and died.

From here we will return to Agra Cantonment railway station and return to Delhi.

  1. Stop 1: Traditional lunch

    Enjoy delicious Mughlai food at a Multi cuisine air-conditioned restaurant.

  2. Stop 2: Majestic Agra Fort

    After lunch, we will proceed to explore the majestic Agra Fort.

    This building itself gives explains the tale of the Mughals. Here the guide will brief you on the history of the Mughals.

  3. Stop 3: Agra - Cantonment Railway station

    Proceed towards Agra cantonment railway station for boarding the train back to Delhi

  4. Stop 4: Train Departs Agra

    The train will depart from Agra cantonment railway station at 5:50 pm

  5. Stop 5: Pickup From Delhi Hotel - Railway Station - Agra

    Pick up from your Hotel in Delhi or Delhi Airport and go to Nizamuddin Railway station to catch the Gatimaan Express train for Agra

  6. Stop 6: Arrive in Delhi

    On arrival back to Nizamuddin railway station your driver will pick you up and return you to your hotel in Delhi or Delhi airport.

     

  7. Stop 7: Arrive in Agra - Explore the Taj Mahal

    Your Guide and driver will waiting to welcome you at railway station with your name tag and you will proceed to the iconic Taj Mahal.

    This is my first time to India as a solo traveler and I had a great introduction to the Taj Mahal with this company. Taking a train ride to Agra was a comfortable alternative to riding in a car the whole way. This review is also a shout out to Neeraj, Saleem, and FARHAN: The dream team! Neeraj and Saleem did a great job with transportation and making sure I got to my destinations. Neeraj even led me all the way to my train seat in the morning! Farhan has been a fantastic guide to spend the day with. Very knowledgeable about the Taj and a fun person to get to know. All email communications before the tour happened was excellent too.Thanks Raj tours!
