Overview

Your day begins heading west with a journey though iconic Jurassic scenery as Round Mountain looms ahead in the distance.

The views from the summit are out of this world, you’ll see the national park of Los Haitises & Samana Bay, with jaw-dropping panoramic views of the whole eastern region.

There are some really cool & original photo opportunities that can be taken advantage of at the top of Round Mountain which is quite unique & make this a “must-do” experience during your stay here.

After leaving Round Mountain, your guide will drive you through the Oriental Mountains range (Cordillera Oriental) for a tasty Dominican lunch at our mountain top ranch where you can also visit an iguana sanctuary to meet and feed our friendly Rhino Iguanas.

After lunch you’ll have the opportunity to visit a beautiful rain forest, where you can either relax in a hammock or swim in a refreshing river pool with a cocktail on your hand, the choice is yours.

We end the day at a small countryside chocolate Finca where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the family, walk through a beautiful chocolate plantation and see, smell and taste how coffee and chocolate are produced from the tree to the cup.
