Overview

Our guide will pick you up from your downtown hotel lobby at 8:30 am and you will be taken directly in a private car to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. Enjoy hiking along the wall and explore the tensely distributed Watchtowers while taking in the break-taking natural scenery.

You will enjoy lunch at a nice local restaurant before visiting the royal park of the Summer Palace. Here you will stroll along the beautiful long corridor and listen to your guide’s live narration of the royal history in beautiful stunning landscapes.

On the second day of your tour, you will visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Stroll around the largest central city square, walk into the best-preserved imperial palace complex, and follow your guide to explore the Imperial history. Next, you will travel to Jingshan Park which is located behind the Forbidden City and which is the best position to get a panoramic view of the Forbidden City.

Have lunch at a nice local restaurant, and move on to explore another sight not to miss when touring Beijing; the Temple of Heaven. Follow your guide to see the Altar, Echo Wall, and spectacular Imperial Vault, admire the most representative existing masterpiece of China’s ancient sacrificial buildings, and discover the belief and worship of Chinese emperors.

On your final day, you will start by visiting the Lama Temple, which is the imperial lamasery built in the Qing Dynasty, you will see the world’s largest wooden sculpture of Buddha - a 26-meter high sculpture of Sakyamuni, which is the great sage of the West. Just one street away from the Lama Temple stands the great sage of the East, the world-renowned Chinese philosopher called Confucius. Follow your guide to visit these two temples and learn the great influence on Chinese people throughout history.

Then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and proceed on to have a leisurely afternoon sightseeing. Take a rickshaw through the 300-year old hutongs, stop at several places on the way for your guide’s presentation and a photo opportunity, stroll around the ancient imperial garden of Beihai Park, and discover the real Beijing culture and local lifestyle.

This was a trip of a life-time and we wanted to make the most of it. We booked this three day tour which really showed us the major attractions in Beijing. We were picked up from our hotel every morning and our day was planned out for us. There were so many wonderful places which we saw and I highly recommend this 3 day tour if you are visiting Beijing.

Totally worth booking a 3 day tour - I got to see all the major landmarks. Some of them I hadn't heard of before I came and I wouldn't have known there was so much to see in Beijing. If you want to fit a lot in then this is the right tour for you.

I do not know how to describe this amazing 3 day tour. We saw so many places including Tienanmen Square, The “Forbidden City,” Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, Lama Temple and had a rickshaw ride. Having travelled so far we wanted our holiday in China to be perfect, and these 3 days were really perfect. Liam and I cannot thank you enough.

We thought out our vacation to China very carefully and booked this tour online before we left Toronto. It was easy to book and we kept in contact with the tour company. I personally am still overawed after our vacation. Everything was awesome and I want to come back ASAP.

We had the most amazing guide on these tours (I never got his name right) and everything we saw was amazing. The Great Wall lived up to our anticipation and it really is wonderful to walk on it and see the sights. There were so many places that we visited, however, the Summer Palace and the rickshaw ride will always stand out for me. We tried traditional food and cannot say anything negative about this tour.
