Overview

The guide will pick you up from your Beijing downtown hotel lobby at 8:30 am, take you aboard the comfortable air-conditioned private vehicle to start the highlights day trip in Beijing.

You will firstly head to visit the Badaling Great Wall which is 70 kilometers away from downtown Beijing and the most representative and definitely worth a visit. Most stairs are not very steep and equipped with handrails, so it is a relatively easy climb.

If you are interested in travelling another way, both cable car and pulley are available to save your energy (this is not included in the price).

Later have a break for lunch at your own expense, feel free to ask your guide to get some advice and enjoy the local authentic food.

Flexible tour options are provided in the afternoon, you can choose your preferred one in downtown area to continue the sightseeing, options such as 1. Summer Palace 2. Temple of Heaven 3. You can't go to China and not see the Great Wall, and this tour gives you enough time and freedom to explore and do what you want once you are there. The guide was friendly but didn't push too much if we weren't interested in hearing everything. We went in the cable car which had some amazing views. And the guide gave us some good recommendations for food. We finished our day with the Forbidden City which was an amazing experience too. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on this day and having the flexibility of having private transfers back when we wanted was a bit like having our own personal chauffeur on call.

We would have missed so many interesting sites if we had not taken this tour. We travelled to China with our 2 children, ages 6 and 10. Our guide made our first day in the city just PERFECT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

We recently took this tour with our Grandchildren and can highly recommend it. Our guide showed us along with their history in a fun and interesting way. We all enjoyed it. The kids are still talking about it and it was lovely to see them telling their parents about The Great Wall!!

We had a terrific tour with our tour guide. We learned so much about the history of this magnificent location. The Great Wall was beautiful! This tour is very well worth paying extra for a private guide and driver. Our whole family had a great day and we cannot thank you enough.

We got a great tour guide and we think we were so lucky to have her as our guide. She was very kind and passionate about her job and she told us the history of Beijing and the great wall and she knows the route so we avoided the crowds. The great wall was so amazing and the weather that day was great!
