Overview
This tour starts at Beijing airport, then you will travel to Beijing, Xian, Jiayuguan, Dunhuang, Turpan, Urumqi and Kashgar.
You will view the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Terra Cotta Warriors, Jiayuguan Fort, Mogao Caves, Minshan Sand Dunes, the ancient city of Jiaohe in Turpan, Heavenly Lake, Kashgar old town and Kashgar bazaar etc.
You will take the bullet train from Beijing to Xian, the bullet train from Dunhuang to Turpan, and a flight from Xian to Jiayuguan, Urumqi to Kashgar.
The tour ends in Kashgar where you can conclude your tour or extend to Kyrgyzstan etc.

What To Expect
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Upon arrival, you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel.
Overnight: Beijing Novotel Xinqiao Hotel or equivalent

Day 2: Beijing
Day tour to the well-known Mutianyu Great Wall, which is about 2 hours by car.
Located on the mountains, Mutianyu was built during Ming Dynasty (1368--1644 AD), and still well preserved. You can climb up the Wall to view the stunning scenery on the top of the mountain.
Today you will have later lunch after the Great Wall.
Afterwards you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing. Overnight: Beijing Novotel Xinqiao Hotel or equivalent

Day 3: Beijing - Xian by Bullet Train
City tour in Beijing. Your guide will take you to visit Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City in the morning.
After lunch, you will catch a 5-hour Bullet Train from Beijing to Xian.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel in Xian. Overnight: Xian Ramada Hotel or equivalent

Day 4: Xian
The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum is one of the highlights of the Silk Road. you will take one hour ride for a visit in the morning.
Then you will visit Old City Wall and Muslim Quarter in the afternoon.

Day 5: Xian - Jiayuguan by Air
Take a flight to Jiayuguan this morning.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit the stunning Jiayuguan Fort which is the western end of the Great Wall built in Ming Dynasty (1368--1644 AD).

Day 6: Jiayuguan - Dunhuang by Car
Drive 5 hours to Dunhuang this morning.
In the afternoon, you will view the Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Spring in the desert.
Explore the night market in the evening.

Day 7: Dunhuang - Turpan by Bullet Train
In the morning, you will visit Mogao Caves, the most important site on the Silk Road. Colorful fresco, statues telling you various stories about Buddha.
Afterwards you will be transferred to Liuyuan railway station to catch a 4-hour Bullet Train ride to Turpan.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 8: Turpan - Urumqi by Car
Today you will visit Bezklik Grottos, Astana Ancient Tombs, the Ancient City of Jiaohe and Gaochang, Karez Irrigation System, and Emin Minaret.
Then drive 3 hours to Urumqi.

Day 9: Urumqi - Kashgar by Air
After hotel breakfast, you will visit Xinjiang Museum, mummies are a must-see in it, particularly Loulan Beauty and Xiaohe Beauty.
Then you will visit the picturesque Heavenly Lake hidden in the Tianshan.
Then you will take a 1.5-hour flight to Kashgar.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 10: Kashgar
