This morning you will visit the Badaling Great Wall, which is 70 kilometres away from downtown and the most popular section. Hike up on the wall, appreciate beacon towers lying at some advantageous strategic forts, and learn how this great man-made project was built. A cable car is equipped in this section, take the cable car at your own expense if you cannot walk too much.

Later have a break for lunch at a nice local restaurant. Flexible tour options are provided in the afternoon and you can choose your preferred one in the downtown area to continue your sightseeing. The options are:

This tour was everything I wanted from my visit to Beijing: The Great Wall, Chinese Food and Kung Fu. Our guide, Hai, was fantastic. He explained everything in detail, waited for us to finish our shopping, and let us change our mind about where to visit mid-trip after finding out what interested us. Originally we were supposed to see the Forbidden City on this tour but instead he took us to Yonghe Lamasery which was just incredible. I would really recommend this tour - ask for Hai if he is available, we loved him!
