We booked this without really knowing what to expect, while on a short stay in Buenos Aires on our way to Antarctica. We ended up having a wonderful time. The facility is very nice, and we watched a few games of polo while enjoying empanadas and wine. Our host was very friendly and spent a lot of time explaining the rules and answering all of our questions. We were surprised when we were offered a chance to try our hand at the game while actually riding the horses, which was an amazing and unique experience. We were also served some fantastic beef that was cooked on the grill, and they even accommodated one of us who is a vegetarian. We cannot say enough good things about the evening, and are glad that we decided to do it. We have some great photos and memories from that evening!

We returned to La Carona Polo Club for the 4th time and this time we enjoyed Polo-night, playing polo under the stars! The owner and their Team make you so welcome. They are eager to assist you with any little wish you may have, very helpful if you are a not so confident rider! Their Polo-night is the first venue to offer nightly polo games in the open air arena, beginning with drinks and tapas and ending with friendships made and addresses exchanged! Families, couples, groups and solo travelers can all enjoy this spectacle: members of the Club stampeding by on their fast polo ponies, within touching distance, going hell for leather to score a goal. It is magic!!!

Together with a group of 8 people we went for a polo night. It was a great experience!! We had unlimited wine and snacks while watching four polo games. Also the barbecue for dinner was perfectly organized. After the matches we even got the chance to ride the horses our self and practice with playing polo. Overall; I would definitely recommend booking this activity. Great staff, great food and value for money!

I come back to Argentina Polo Day almost every year when I am in Argentina. Each time I notice improvements in the already fantastic experience. This year I went to their Polo Night program. This is a shorter evening format. The polo game is played in the smaller arena field under lights. The Argentine BBQ “asado” and other tasty foods like “tortilla espanola” (Spanish Potato omelet) are served along with wine as you watch from the arena stand. The evening setting is beautiful with the wood fire BBQ grill glowing in the night, and the cool outdoor air. Our guide, Sebastian, who is a polo player and veterinarian provided expert commentary on the game play and training and care of the horses. A great option if you don’t want to do the full day program or are looking for an alternative to the typical tango show.

Servicio 5 estrellas!!!

This is really a great time. The farm and paddocks are beautiful. The club houses are spectacular. The polo field and stands are great.
