Overview
Our Full Polo Day program is designed for you to become a polo player for the day. Any day of the year! You begin the day with an informative talk about polo and its ponies. While you taste some delicious empanadas and excellent argentine wine, our guide will explain how polo horses are selected for the sport, their blood lineages and how they are trained. You will learn also about the rules of the game, the equipment used by the polo horse and the player and the different shooting techniques. Then you will attend a professional live polo match of 4 chukkas. With more than 30 horses in play, you will enjoy a fast paced polo game of pure adrenaline. In between chukkas, we will visit the pony line and you will learn about how a polo horse is taken care of, its feeding and preparation for a match. We are the only Polo Club to offer a polo game EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR. Lunchtime is part of this incredible Argentina Experience, a complete barbeque that includes "asado", a grilled selection of meat and beef, accompanied by premium argentine wines. You will have the unique opportunity to try our delicious regional food (we also have a vegetarian option). After spending some relaxing time at the swimming pool or walking through our beautiful countryside, you will take a polo lesson where you will learn to ride a horse, hold the mallet and hit the ball. Believe it! You will finish your day by sharing a mini polo match that will make you feel like a professional player! It is not necessary to know how to ride a horse, nor do you have to have previous experience in polo. We offer equipment and instruction for all levels. We speak English and Spanish. This Full Polo Day program starts at 10:30hs and ends at 19hs.

This is definitely a must do when you are in Buenos Aires!! The organisation is excellent (pick up at your hotel/place) welcome drink, etc. All the staff is great. The horses are great and they know well enough the horses so that you have fun what ever your level in horse ridding is! You first watch a game and then it is your turn for at least one hour! And the BBQ was just amazing! SO you must surely go and enjoy a day like this!

The whole day is planned really well. I was picked up from my hotel with the transfer and got to meet other guests in the transfer that I would be spending the day with. When we arrived we were given an really good enpanada that was done on the grill, much better than the ones I had tasted in Buenos Aires! This was followed by some good wine. We then watched a polo game between some of the club members and the grooms. It was really fun to watch. After that we had a really good parisia, ( argentinian barbeque). The meat was cooked to perfection and there was so much variety! Definitely a top meal whilst in Argentina! I also enjoyed the never ending flow of wine :) After we had eaten as much as we could we had a quick introduction to polo and a chance to play . The ponies were great and very easy to ride. I have ridden a lot before but there were some guests who had never ridden before but managed fine.

This was probably a once in a lifetime experience for our group of friends. None of us had ever had the opportunity to play polo, and none of us were experienced riders (total beginners actually). I won't repeat all of the positive reviews that are already posted about this great opportunity, but I do agree with them all! I would highly recommend planning this day into your vacation. It was very reasonably priced, and from beginning to end the hospitality was incredible.Although most of our group failed miserably at actually playing polo (it's very hard IMHO), we were offered the opportunity to just ride free around the property with our horses and the staff made sure we got our money-worth! I arrived a total beginner and had my horse cantering by the end of the day!

It was a great day. We where welcomed by the owner with a nice glass of wine! It was fun and interesting to watch a polo game. The BBQ was one of the best ever! Then it was time to play our own game. Hard to hit the ball, but really a lot of fun! Great horses.

What a fantastic way to spend a day outside of Buenos Aires! Never having experienced polo in my life, this was a great introduction to the sport that gave me a newfound respect for the athleticism it requires. And what better way to find this out than by giving it a try yourself - believe me, the pros make it look easy. The couple that operates this company could not have been more welcoming and gracious to their guests - because it is a small operation, the personalized service and attention cannot be duplicated by larger, more touristy events. This was the best tour I did while in Buenos Aires, and the price is right on the money...

I was in town for business and decided to experience one of the famous sports of Buenos Aires during a free day....I'm so glad I did! First off, I'm afraid of horses and have never ridden one but I'm so glad I decided to do this. Everyone at the company is super nice and offered us wine/empanadas as soon as we arrived at the ranch. The next hour consisted of us watching them play competitive game of polo while teaching us rookies about the rules. The following BBQ lunch was delicious and it was fun to be able to kick back and learn more about the Argentinian culture from some true locals. We spent the last hour or so actually riding the horses and playing a "game" which must have looked ridiculous to an outsider since most of our horses were walking -- only because they knew we were beginners. The instructors were great! They were helping everyone individually and by the end of the session I was much more comfortable on a horse and really having fun. I recommend this for anyone with a spare day in Buenos Aires!!!

An amazing, relaxing, invigorating day out of the city! We were greeted with THE BEST empanadas of our entire trip, hot off the grill. After watching a full polo game while learning the key points, we filled our bellies with grilled meats and wine. Then we worked it all off while playing our own game of polo; it's a lot harder than it looks! The staff is excellent and accommodating. An experience not to be missed.

This is a great way to spend a day in Argentina. I was expecting it to be a bit touristy and not really a challenge for me, an experienced rider, but boy was I wrong. After amazing empanadas, a demo game and a delicious barbecue with delicious wine we played a full on game with the other guest, the owner and his wonderful staff. It was fast and fun and full of adrenaline, definitely an experience I will remember for a very long time.

This is something to tell your family and friends about, that made your trip special, unique, and so much fun. It’s not every day one gets to play polo (people look at you in awe when you tell them you did). You “play” at your own pace, yet offered a challenge in the mix. Staff is right there to guide and reassure you all the time. Horses were well behaved, well trained, and responded so wonderfully. It was quite an experience from the first glass of wine of welcome/ to the departing hugs from owner and staff.
