<p>Having now completed my tour with John Healy I can say there is no doubt that he is absolutely the best and there is no better way to see Ireland. I have mentioned in prior reviews how great is his enthusiasm for sharing this country &amp; culture, his wonderful talents in storytelling, history lessons &amp; singing &amp; the flexibility of his tours, offering many options for the day whether bike riding, walking or just hanging out in the van or in a pub it that&rsquo;s what you feel like doing. I have been on the Southwest tour 4 times each time has brought something new.</p> <p>This trip brought us to Morrissey&rsquo;s Pub a truly authentic Irish Pub in Abbeyleix and a couple of new ruins one of which was a beautiful round tower MyTours had never visited before. A hike in Killarney National Park was another first for me. Our weather was not terribly co-operative but that did nothing to dampen the fun. There was always hot whiskey in a quaint pub somewhere or a picnic safe and dry aboard the bus. McCarthy&rsquo;s Bar in Castletownbere &amp; O&rsquo;Neill&rsquo;s Railway Tavern on the Dingle Peninsula are always fun stops and wandering among the cows and the ruins of Athasall Abbey and the moss covered forests of Gougane Barra are favourite places for me. Stays at the Gougane Barra Hotel, Davitt&rsquo;s in Kenmare, Portmagee Heights in Portmagee &amp; The Dingle Bay hotel were all wonderful. The Music &amp; craic in Dingle ended the trip perfectly I continue to be impressed with MyTours &amp; John&rsquo;s concern and effort to see that everyone, no matter how diverse the group, has fun and sees and does what they want. It makes him a standout in my book.</p>

John made our Ireland holiday most enjoyable, very professional, witty and knowledgeable. We saw places not on the usual tour routes, which was wonderful. Would definitely recommend his tour. Will definitely look to John for our next Ireland tour.

Magical Land, People & Tour Guide – My wife & I booked John’s tour 4 months ahead of our departure. In September & October 2015. We booked the 7 day Southwest Tours. Even before our tours started John had recommendations on where we could stay in both Dublin & Galway which have nothing to do with his tours. We rode horses on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. We hiked on tails that went amongst the cows & sheep. We were on a boat ride to see the cliffs of Clare & were surrounded by about 30 dolphins on the way back. The whole thing about John’s MyTours is that I only saw 2 large tour buses at 2 of our stops. We saw fantastic ring forts, towers, passage tombs, beaches, scenic overlooks & fantastic old pubs towns and had the opportunity to talk to the locals the places that we stayed were top notch and the breakfasts were amazing. John filled our entire day with stories history songs and some great fairy tales. He would incorporate us into his stories and made the whole trip seem like we were all one big family. We played Irish football and practised our hurling on a beautiful field in Brosna GAA grounds. We saw and did what we wanted to with John’s guidance. Bottom line do tours with John, I’ll give you your money back if you do not have a good time. No really, but I got a nice t-shirt that you can have.
