<div>We got lucky in some sense because other buses (tour companies) were leaving when the northern lights slowly showed up. after 2 min or so...they were ready to see. we stayed longer than 12 midnight which allowed us to see and take photos of the northern lights. You will only see them by your camera. the conductor was informative and did his job good. He called us upon seeing the right clouds to take photos of. Would be nice if they also provided some hot drinks while we wait.<br /><br /></div>

Best tour!!!</p> <div>The tour took is out to a car park near Thingvellir park, it was snowing heavily at the beginning but soon the clouds cleared and we were lucky enough to see a fantastic light show at about 10pm. The bus stayed for a while to let everyone get their pictures. I would advise you wrap up warm to protect from the wind, and pack water/snacks as you may be waiting a while for the lights. Also the commentary from the bus driver was a bit rambly but funny.<br /><br /></div>

<div>Absolutely spectacular. We lucked out and apparently had the best lights of the season so far. Initially there were faint lights (which were still impressive) and then it burst into action for 10 minutes. Apparently it was -15 degrees, so wear all your layers (and bring some hot chocolate in a flask!) <br /><br /></div>

This tour was sensational and made even more so by our guide. Her knowledge was incredible. She shared enough of her knowledge for us to take in but not to overload us. We were a family of five and my youngest girl did not want our guide to leave at the end of the tour.
