As you take in the sights and sounds of your surroundings, be prepared to be awestruck by the views from this truly unique lookout point. Meet Hualapai Indians in full tribal dress performing the traditional dance (subject to availability).

After these two amazing lookout points, head down to the Hualapai Ranch and take in a Wild West Show with Old West gunfights! (Subject to availability.)

Best day ever spent in the company of felix our driver who kep us right all day. What a star. I had signed up for the helicopter and boat trip but was so anxious as a bit of a coward with flying. Oh my lord what a thrill it was flying over it twice, once to get to the boat and then back to base in a different direction. This is a must do as far as I’m concerned, I could have gone again. Boat trip was also good and I can’t thank everyone enough for adding to the experience. Skywalk was great just disappointed not to have own camera as you pay for pictures. Food was amazing too. Can not recommend this trip highly enough.

Our tour guide was Kevin and he was outstanding. We opted for the mercedez van instead of the bus and it was SO worth it. We did the helicopter tour with the boat ride and really enjoyed that. I wish the helicopter ride was longer but it was my first time and I lOVED it!

were collected very early from our hotel and transferred to the bus company depot where we lined up for our tickets (coloured wrist bands that signified the tour and extras you'd selected). We made our way to the bus and found it to be modern and comfortable and, on our trip, full to the brim. Our driver was a bloke named Felix who we found to be knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining for the duration of the journey. Our first stop was the Hoover Dam - well not really the Hoover Dam, but a viewing point on a bypass bridge that gives you a good view of the Dam. It was good but not the same as walking on the dam itself. Back on the bus and Felix began to explain to us in great detail how our visit to the canyon would work and how tight the timings would likely be for those of us undertaking a number of activities (Skywalk, helicopter and river ride). He was right and it ended up we didn't complete everything on our visit (we missed seeing the ranch and had very limited time at the guano mine) On arrival Felix sent us straight to the helicopters. Even though it was outside peak season we had to wait a little for our flight but once onboard had an unbeatable view of the canyon and river during our short flight to the canyon floor. From the landing sight we traversed an unsealed path over uneven ground and down a number of stairways and ramps down to the riverbank where our boat and guide was waiting. We were soon aboard and went for a short trip up and back on the Colorado River with our guide telling us stories of it's history and taking photo's of us for our album. We returned to the dock and returned to the helipad via the same path which would be challenging to persons with mobility issues. Then it was back into the helicopter and back to the main visitor centre where we stuck the real problem on our visit - the shuttle buses. These buses take you on a loop from the main visitors centre to the three destinations around the canyon. This transport is provided by the local operator and on the day we visited it was grossly under-resourced so we found ourselves waiting at least 30 minutes at each point for a bus to take us to the next one. This was uncomfortable in the hot sun but more importantly meant that we were unable to enjoy the time that should have been available to us at each point. Wait time for the Skywalk was also around the 30 minute mark for us and it was hugely dissapointing that so much time was lost to queueing. In the end we were unable to spend any time at the Ranch, and had limited time at the guano mine. If you can put that aside, however, a visit to the canyon is trully amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. The outlook is stunning and competely overwhelming. It's just a shame that so muych time was lost to bus lines and I'd recommend you not try to do so much as we did on the one day.

First the good: the west rim tour was awesome. Our driver was safe and courteous. The bus was kept cool the entire way and we had adequate time to see everything The not quite so good: we ended up on three busses. And we didn’t get to sit together and I had more room on a discount airline than I had on the bus. We were picked up at 6:05. We made 9 stops on our way to....the bus station! There we stood in line to get our wristbands and bus assignments. When we got to our bus we were separated. Picked up first but not able to sit together for the trip! Are you kidding me? The trip was uneventful but very scenic. No tour guide-just a recording which was called our tour guide by the driver. The West Rim visit was great. We did the helicopter and boat ride which was awesome We got on the bus to come back to Vegas and took seats together. We got kicked out of our new seats and were told we had to sit in our seats from the ride out. I feel like such a grade schooler on a field trip! We got back to Vegas and our driver was out of time to deliver us all. So we didn’t change drivers-that would make too much sense-we had all 50 passengers change busses!! So if you have read this far-the trip is great, the bus driver takes all the stress out of the drive but you do “pay for the convenience with a few inconveniences” If I did it again I would check these details out before choosing which tour to take.

We had a really amazing bus driver, who made the trip interesting and was friendly as well. I really recommend the skywalk- it is definitely a tourist trap, but still worth it. We came from Ireland and Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon are the most exciting places we have been to.

We went on a day trip to the Grand Canyon, which included the Hoover Dam (which was unfortunately closed so we couldn't walk...damn!). Great trip. My driver was Thomas, who was QUITE engaging and a great travel companion (and this is coming from someone who HATES buses). He gave us LOTS of information and remained friendly throughout the entire trip. I just wish we coulda walked the Dam....... The Grand Canyon is BEAUTIFUL. The SkyWalk is nice....but quick. You do it and it's done. But I'm glad I did it. The food at the Canyon SUCKS but you don't go for the food. The bus was comfortable and no probs. All in all, a great trip.

This is my first review ever on anything, so I guess it does say a lot about the tour and our driver/tour guide, Kevin. We took the tour on 3/8/18 with an upgrade to luxury coach and it was worth every penny thanks to Kevin! We were lucky to have really good fellow travelers as well. But Kevin definitely, went out of his way to make our day awesome! He was very pleasant and friendly throughout the day and had very good suggestions regarding the different tour options available. We made the best possible stops and I felt the day passed by too quickly. The helicopter/boat ride were spectacular. However, I do wish we had more time on them. But then, I guess one could never get enough of the grand canyon! Thanks a ton Kevin! Couple from Louisville, KY.

This was a fabulous tour, my first to the Grand Canyon. The helicopter and boat ride were well worth the extra money. Pros: Awesome destination, comfortable bus, plugs in each row to charge phones and cameras Cons: Kind of a warehouse feel to it because so many people, had to go to bus terminal and stand in line before leaving, and worst of all, annoying people sitting right behind us talking loudly and drinking beer on the bus.All the way there and back. Overall, the tour was awesome, but I might opt for a smaller company next time.

It you are looking - DO IT!!! I didn't think the Sky walk was all that, but if you have the extra cash, it's a cool thing. The helicopter ride was awesome ! The boat tour was short but to make it to the floor of the canyon is something most don't do and it was worth it. Great price for all you get.

Had an awesome time visiting the west rim of the Grand Canyon and skywalk. The amount of time at the site is more than enough time to experience the beauty, and learn about the culture of the Indian tribe(s). Thomas, our driver was informative and quite funny. Though the real highlight of the day was the helicopter ride.
