Day 1: Arrival and Lake victoria experience
Arrival at the Entebbe Airport, you will be recieved by Ronald the Guide who will meet and greet thereafter transfer you to the Lodge that has a clear view of lake victoria and the Kampala city for relaxation.
Ronald will brief you of the next day's activities and flow of the day day before wishing you the best of your night.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls
You will be picked up from the Lodge by Range Land Safari driver/guide who will then drive you across the country. A stopover is made at Masindi for en-route lunch
Your trip continues to Budongo Forest and to the top of Murchison Falls. From there, if you are booked into Northern bank, you will cross the Nile by ferry. On the hour-long evening safari you may encounter animals taking cover to avoid the lions’ favourite spots.
Day 3: Murchison Falls experience
After an early cup of African coffee you should be ready for a dawn game drive along the Nile and Albert delta. Here you will see lots of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, waterbuck and a large number of birds. You will then return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.
After lunch, a three-hour boat trip along the Nile gives you the chance to see Murchison Falls the fastest water falls in the world from below. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river.
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park
You will make an early start by road to Kibale National Park via the Albertine escarpment. Visit the top of Murchison Falls before you embark on a drive along the Rift Valley. The journey is enjoyable as you go through different parts of the country including land scape and culture. to the Kibale forest ranked top in possesion of primate life.
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking experience
Start your day with an early morning trek to see the chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. After lunch, Enjoy a nature walk in the Bigodi Swamp rich in bird life and primates before driving to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, game viewing en route.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth endless gem
Begin your day with a cup of coffee, then enjoy an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile where you may encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Ugandan kobs and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.
After lunch, a two-hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile for an opportunity to see hippo, buffalo, Ugandan kobs, elephants and warthogs. This trip also enables you the chance to see some spectacular birds at the Kazinga bird sanctuary one of its kind in africa where different species of birds come together to sun bath.
Day 7: Climbing Lions and Bwindi Community
Enjoy a morning safari at Ishasha in search of the tree-climbing lions. Then on to Bwindi via the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations. This is one of the lushest highland rainforests on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds.
The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park.
Day 8: Gorilla life experience
Starting the day with a hearty breakfast, you should be ready for your trek that begins at 8am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Make sure you bring a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, walking boots etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates.The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.
Day 9: Bwindi to Entebbe
Return to Entebbe via Kampala, stopping off for lunch and a photo opportunity at the equator. The drive is enjoyable as you go through the rolling hill of kabale and view of the Lake Bunyonyi the beautiful and deepest like in Africa.
Depending on your flight time, you can be transfered to the airport to pick your evening flight back home or to the next destination.
Day 10: City tour and airport transfer
Basing on your flight time, you will have a city tour to buy souvenirs and later transfer to the airport for your flight.
