Kusadasi Best Ephesus Private Guided Tours

5 / 5 total 1 reviews
Duration: 6 hours
Our private licenced tour guide will collect you from the Port In Kusadasi or your Hotel at the agreed and scheduled time (usually 8.00) with an Air Conditioned luxury vehicle. We will then start on our journey to The House of Virgin Mary which is located on the top of the lovely Bulbul mountain the scenery here is divine. Said to be where The Virgin Mary spent her final days this is a beautiful spot for tourists. There is a lovely walk through to the little church situated there where Mass/Services are held on a regular basis. Your private Ephesus tour guide will show and tell you all about the history of this beautiful holy place.

Then onto Ephesus and see some of the most beautiful scenery so have your camera ready. The magnificent Ephesus Ruins is where your guided tour begins with The Temple of Hadrian, The Odeon, The Celsus Library & Theatre and The Roman Baths. We will stop off for some lunch in a Traditional Turkish Restaurant which is a great experience to try some true authentic Turkish food.

Then we will go to The Temple of Artemis which is one of the seven wonders of the world where your professional private tour guide will educate you about the temple. This is a lovely walk and has some great opportunities to take great photographs.

Ephesus Museum is our next stop which is located in Selcuk. The museum is arranged in sections like The Hall of the Funerary Relics, The Gladiators Section and The Fountain Relics as there were so many artefacts found that it was easier to name the location of the find rather than put them in any chronological order.

At a designated time (usually 4.30) we will start our journey back to Kusadasi.

Visiting a historical place such as Ephesus in my opinion requires a guide and that is exactly what Serap was ! Serap an her driver collected us from our rented accomodation and took us on the lovely journey in a really nce minivan as there were 4 of us plenty of room for us all. We directly went to Marys house and it was a delight to see hard to imagine how she lived in this little house on top of this mountain. Then we went and explored Ephesus with as much info Serap could fill our ears with and it exceeded my expectations of how it was going to be much bigger and more interesting then ever even in the museum of Ephesus it was fasinating to see all the finds from the excavations. The Templ of Artemis was which is literally the ruins of where the temple once stood but its still a nice part of the trip. We stopped for a really nice lunch of some turkish dishes which were all delicious. this trip for me and mt friends was something we won't forget highly recommend it to anyone who travels to this area of Turkey.
