Thailand has gained in popularity in recent years and now sees many visitors each and every year; naturally, one of the most important locations in the country is the capital, Bangkok. However, this isn't just because it is the capital as it offers tremendous experiences, incredible journeys into different cultures, and delicious food.

Today, we are offering you the chance to join us on our full-day private guided Bangkok tour so you can enjoy all the main sights without having to worry about travel or time.

Itinerary

Morning - After picking you up from your hotel at around 08:00, our first short journey will take us to the Emerald Buddha Temple. This temple holds one of the most famous religious objects in Thailand, an image of a Buddha carved from jade, and is sure to start the day in the right way. After this, we head to Grand Palace which is one for the architects boasting over 215,000 square meters of land and walls that date back over 230 years. To this day, the Chapel Royal and Government offices can be found within the 1,900-meter walls.

We continue the morning with a trip to the ‘Reclining Buddha’ temple which has nearly 100 pagodas and is the oldest and largest in the city. Strangely enough, the location was also the first ever open university in the whole country and offered several courses including astrology, medicine, and literature.

Lunch - Although the cost of the tour doesn't cover lunch, we will take a break and leave you to decide what food you wish to sample. Whether you want buffet food, street food, a sit-down meal, local food, or anything else, let the tour guide know, and they will be able to recommend something.

Afternoon - Once you are refueled, we jump on a long-tailed boat to travel down the Chao Phraya River where you will see all the different buildings/accommodation in the city and how they differ from ruined houses to luxury condos. In addition to this, you will also get a different perspective of the Grand Palace as well as seeing the Royal Barge Museum which still holds King’s Barges boasting all sorts of colored glass and stuccos.

Finally, we get off at the Temple of Dawn to see the largest prang in Thailand. After having a short ride on a Tuk Tuk to a flower market, we will end the full-day private guided Bangkok tour after eight hours of fun, experiences, and memories.

We are a group of 7, this is a company awarding tour. Me and my colleagues. We've stayed in Bangkok for three days. Company didn't have any budget for tour guide, they thought we could travel by ourselves, like just take some pictures or something. We tried to see it on our own, but we had miss out on so much the first day. For that, we decided to find local tour guide who can roughly explain the temples for us. Fortunately, our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us all the amazing places in Bangkok with his funny stories. From his eyes and mind we've got totally different version of Bangkok, not only just a city with those famous glamorous temples, but a city alive with its history. Overall, excellent trip!
