San Sebastian is extremely pedestrian friendly – both within the historical centre, and along the expansive beaches which border it. The charming old quarter is bursting with cafés and restaurants where you can try their tasty tapas.
Other attractions include the Baroque Church of Santa Maria , the Gothic Church of San Vicente, and the Museo de San Telemo , a former 16 th century convent. For spectacular views of the bay and town, climb atop Mount Urgull and Mount Igueldo .
At the base of Mount Igeldo is a beach where visitors can take a ride to the peak to witness the breathtaking view. There are numerous things to see and do in Bilbao - here are some favorites:
- In the summer see an open air concert at the Kiosko del Arenal El Arenal Parque (across from Plaza Arriaga). The stage was built in 1923, and renovated in 1985.
- Beginning the first Saturday after August 15th for a duration of 9 days is Aste Nagusia / Semana Grande, the city's fiesta (holiday). An interesting time to visit,
however be prepared for lots of noise, music, street theater and events, with firework displays in the evening. Details are available from the tourist office in Teatro
- Walk through the seven streets of the Casco Viejo (historical centre of the city).
- Climb the Mallona stairs from Plaza Unamuno to Parque Etxebarria for the great views.
- Walk along the river.
- Walk through Doña Casilda Iturrizar Park, admiring the ponds and gardens, next to the Fine Arts Museum.
- Take the Artxanda Funicular, again for the views.
- Go kayaking or rent a boat from Bilbobentura  (a company that rents out kayaks on the bank of the river nervion).
- First Saturdays Flea Market. Dos de Mayo Street transforms every first Saturday into a flea market selling antiques, books, and second hand clothes.
This morning, you will be picked up by your driver in the lobby of the hotel and be driven to La Rioja where you will meet your guide for your first wine tour of the day at one of the renowned and historic wineries in Haro and wine tasting.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.

- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
