Overview

Our Gaudì and Picasso Barcelona Tour brings you around the capital of Catalonia through the two artists' iconic places. It is a unique tour of this outstanding city, perfect either for the artistic or the adventurous ones... Or both, why not?

Barcelona is a unique city, with medieval buildings standing side by side with modernist ones. This gives life to the city, creating a magical atmosphere- a result achieved also thanks to the work of Gaudì and Picasso.

If you choose to book this tour you will spend seven hours with a private local guide. The guide will meet you in the morning at Gaudi’s masterpiece- the Sagrada Familia. You will access Barcelona’s best-known landmark with skip the line tickets and enjoy a fabulous tour inside with your guide. You will get to know the cathedral and its great designer better through the guide's words.

Then you will be escorted to the beautiful Palau Guell, designed by Antoni Gaudì for the rich Guell family. It is a building so beautiful it gained a place among the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Both the outside and inside of this building will leave you speechless with its decorations and colourful chimneys- a kind of art which has no comparison.

You will enjoy a pleasant walk to the Gothic district, where you will reach the Picasso Museum. Five historical medieval buildings can be found on the streets of this zone, which is built to form a maze. The buildings were built between the 13th and the 14th century and were later chosen to host the Picasso Museum.

Your guide will explain all about Picasso’s life and art thanks to the countless works preserved inside the museum, including the famous “Las Meninas”. The tour also includes a stop at the best tapas bars to taste some local tapas and discover the basics of Catalan cuisine!

After this relaxing break, you will proceed to the elegant Passeig de Gracia boulevard with all its upmarket shops and stunning modern buildings. Other attractions include the Block of Discord, Gaudi’s Casa Mila and Casa Batllò.

Are you ready to have a great time while everything about these two Spanish geniuses? Our Gaudì and Picasso Barcelona Tour is just waiting for you to book it.

You can't go to Sagrada Familia and Park Güell without a tour guide. We learned a lot from this tour and did not have to wait in any lines.

This "Gaudì in a day tour" was such a wonderful experience for my family! Our tour guide, Elizabeth, was EXCEPTIONAL!! The tour was with myself, my husband, and our 3 teenage boys. She used that time very wisely and gave us a great primer on Gaudi's art and history and talked us thru the features of each building before going inside to visit it. We saw Park Guell, Casa Batllo, Casa Milà ad the Sagrada Familia and both us and the kids were enthusiastic: we managed to see it all and learn so many things about Gaudì and Barcelona. Thank you Elizabeth! Book a private tour with this company: You won't regret it, especially when you see all of the other people queuing up to get tickets or big tour groups walking around with ear phones --

My wife has always loved Gaudi work so we had our 20th wedding anniversary in Barcelona and had a special 1/2 day private tour visiting Casa Batlo & Sagrada Familia, both with skip the line tickets which saves a lot of queueing. Our guide Eva was so knowledgeable, not just about Gaudi but about Barcelona, the region in general, and the important religious connection. We were exhausted at the end of the tour from taking it all in but cannot recommend this tour highly enough. It is so much better than trying to understand it all yourself from a simple audio tour or reference book.

We had tour guide Elisabet who took us through the 'Gaudi tour for kids'. She was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great tour of Sagrada Familia- skipped all the lines. As we hadn't had lunch, she took us somewhere close by so we could grab something to eat. We walked to La Pedrera and toured inside - it was stinking hot so we ended up walking to Casa Batllo on our own and admired it from the outside. Was a little pricey for the 4 of us, but was worth it.

With only 6 hours on the ground in Barcelona to see the park, cathedral, Gaudi house and Picasso Museum, it was always going to be a push. But this company helped to collect us from the airport and get straight into things. Our guide Anna knew everything it seems but had a knack for providing just the interesting points on all the key sights we saw, being sure not to get into too much historical depth (which on tours can sometimes become boring and overwhelming). Our driver helped organize luggage movements and logistically helped the day become a reality.

Enjoyed every part of this tour and our guide was great. The fact that it was a private tour with skip the line tickets made it worth every dollar.

Although there is not a huge display of Picasso paintings at the museum, it does have a lot of his early work. The streets around the museum are interesting and overall this tour is not bad. It was more expensive, but we did have our own guide and got to skip the lines.
