Our Barcelona in a Day Tour for Kids brings the whole family to discover Gaudi’s genius and learn about his stunning architecture.

Your guide will take you inside the Sagrada Familia whilst from the outside you will visit Casa Batlló and Casa Mila also known as “La Pedrera”.

After a great overall tour of the city, a private driver will pick you and your guide up to go to Park Guell, another of Gaudì’s great works. He designed the park on request of Count Guell, but in 1922 it was purchased by the city’s government and it became one of the most famous parks in Spain. Today the park is renowned for its visual jokes and the unusual and spectacular shapes of its fountains, columns and benches.

This will be a great, relaxing stop for the whole family as you discover how Gaudi’s art is so intertwined with nature and its elements. Kids will truly be able to explore the natural environment through the incredible shapes of the architecture.

With your child-oriented guide and private driver, you will proceed to the ancient heart of the city, the charming gothic district. The gothic borough is built on part of some ancient Roman ruins and is constructed like a maze with many little alleys that open into historical squares. Your guide will keep you all entertained with anecdotes about ancient families and medieval times.

Last but not least you will also see the Catalonian square and the amazing Las Ramblas with the living statues of robots and medieval knights. After 7/8 hours with your guide and half-day with your driver, you will return back to the hotel having experienced all the best that Barcelona has to offer in just one day. Your children will be talking about all of the art and history they discovered for the rest of your vacation!

My family and I had a great time on this tour with our tour guide and driver. Not only did she have our kids hanging on her every word; my husband and I were captivated as well. We got a very fascinating and detailed account of Barcelona and its history. We particularly enjoyed the Gothic district, Sagrada Familia and the highlight for the children was the amazing Las Ramblas. A great tour and well worth having a private guide.

We did this tour on our second day in Barcelona and I was a bit nervous as I was unsure how my two boys aged 6 and 10 would cope with a full-day tour. Having done our research prior to travelling, we picked this private tour as we felt that if our boys were cranky – then having our own personal guide would be a blessing as we would not be disturbing other tourists. My husband and I give this tour five out of five as our guide made this a day that we will never forget. Our boys loved her and she kept their attention on what she was saying by making it fun. They loved with park with the robots and we loved every part of the tour. Well done to our guide and thank you for making our day special.

I highly recommend this tour! Travelling with kids is never easy as they usually want to go to theme parks and the swimming pool. We wanted our two boys and daughter to learn about the places we visited during our European vacation. It was really nice to have a smaller group as well, as some of the bigger tours had 20-30 people which I wouldn't have found as enjoyable and the children would have lost interest quickly. The Gothic Quarter, Sagrada Familia were amazing and the parks were beautiful with so many attractions that the kids loved. Our guide was great and recounted the history of Barcelona in such as way that my kids now know who Gaudi is.

This has been one of my favourite experiences not just in Barcelona but from other tours that my family and I have taken. Travelling with 5 kids and four adults we thought that if we booked this 8 hour tour we would learn a lot about Barcelona and the children would learn with us. Having a private child-friendly guide made all of the difference. She kept us all enthralled with her tales – not just the children. Seeing the beautiful sights of Barcelona through our guide’s eyes is something none of us will forget. The children loved the statues and robots and if you are in Barcelona with kids, this tour is worth every cent that we paid for it.

This was a great way to start our one week’s holiday in Barcelona. It gave us a feel of the area we were staying in and although it was more expensive than a group tour; it was worth it. My daughter who is 10 enjoyed the whole day as our guide was fantastic with her and taught her about Barcelona’s history in a fun and friendly way. The sights that you get to see on this tour are amazing. All in all a great day out.

I will be looking for similar tours when we plan our next holiday and I highly recommend this if you're visiting Barcelona with your children. I had never heard of family friendly tours until I came across this one on an online search. Having your own private guide and driver allowed for us to slightly change the itinerary to suit our needs. Our guide was awesome with our kids and made the tour so interesting that we all learned from her. A GREAT TOUR TO TAKE IN BARCELONA.

This tour was paced well and delivered a wealth of history with fun facts, urban legends, local customs, and visual aids. The adults in our group enjoyed it as much as the kids and at the end of the day, everyone was really pleased that we booked this tour.
