Overview

This tour involves a Venice that overcomes the romantic myth of itself and becomes a place of experimentation, exhibition and debate of the most recent tendencies of Contemporary Art. See Ca’ Pesaro, a seat of the National Gallery of Modern Art.

Then continue admiring some beautiful palaces on the Grand Canal such as Ca’ d’Oro and other significant places like the market and Rialto Bridge.

Out of the tracks, strolling around calli, canals and bridges you will hear stories of modern artists and art collectors active in Venice.

Some beautifully displayed collections of 20th century paintings , artists prints and sculptures, including some very famous names but also excellent Italian artists who may not be quite so well known outside their own country. It is not only the exhibits that you see, but the walk includes a detailed account of the places that we visited. A very good tour and I highly recommend.

There's a great collection of Italian art, as well as other prominent (and lesser known) twentieth-century artists to be seen on this tour. Our guide knew her history and we definitely learned a lot from this tour.

Visiting a modern art gallery when in Venice seems like a strange choice, but it was nice to take a break from all the historic sights and it’s much quieter than the other attractions. A big thank you to our guide as she really made the tour interesting

I'm not very into Art but my husband has studied Arts and likes to see different collections whenever we travel. We booked online and had a very friendly guide that I even really enjoyed myself. The price was reasonable and even though the art we saw was amazing, for myself it was the location that was priceless.
