Meeting Point
The meeting point is Piazza del Risorgimento (just at the centre of the square you will find our staff members at the “Bar - Caffetteria L’Ottagono”, 400 metres from the nearest metro stop “Ottaviano”). Please be there no later than 15 minutes before the tour starts. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

Know Before You Go

  • If you have a metal coated pacemakers, all relevant paperwork/ID cards should be carried for security checks
  • This tour ends at St. Peter's Square.
  • This tour visits religious sites, and there is a dress code to be observed. Visitors must be dressed appropriately: no sleeveless blouses, no miniskirts, no shorts, and no hats are allowed.
  • The Basilica is an active place of worship and may be closed without prior notice for religious events: in this case, the visit will be substituted by a visit to the Vatican Library.

Everything was great! I booked at 00:15 (midnight) for the tour starting in the afternoon and everything was ready through the QR code voucher that was sent immediately. Our local guide was sweet and perfect!

It's amazing what a difference a good an passionate guide makes. Our guide, made this tour a great journey into the history of the places and the people. 4 hours went like a breeze and she resourcefully answered absolutely any questions from the group. Elena cared for the group

Our guide, Rafaela, did a great job of giving us the history and story of the paintings and sculptures. She did this in a lot of detail, her passion just inspirational! If you want to see works by Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raffael this is the tour for you.
